A spot I found while leveling, but I didn't realize the mobs could be Force Spawned if I killed them all! I haven't seen anyone else post about this area, so I will!

Seems to got nerfed now in classic cata pre patch. They won't respawn any longer

@@kanaplays I hadn't found a new one in the pre patch, I was thinking of checking the spot up north in Icecrown, on the platform ledge, to see if that's still a hyperspawn, but it would only be 3 mobs at a time. Could still be worth it though.

Incredible! This is the first spot that I went to farm BY PURE COINCIDENCE and I searched for maybe a better way to farm it and you show the EXACT same pack of mobs I was farming :'D
Great spot! I was averaging about 10-12 stacks of frostweave cloth an hour on my warlock (with extra tailoring cloth drops)
Scholazar basin venture camp is better imo for this. Mobs there drop green items aswell. Very good for tailoring+enchanting. And the best thing is that its just north of nesingwary camp, just farm your bags and mail the cloth+greens to alt and go back. Made tons there.

Saw this about 3 weeks ago but didn't want to comment then to bring this to peoples attention. Had my fill of grinding now so I can confirm its an excellent spot!
Was making on avg 500g an hour on my spriest through gold drops / cloth / greys / DE'ing greens / other AH items. Levelled up tailoring and enchanting in just a few days.
Just tried this today and it still works. Only killed mobs for about 10 minutes and got 2 stacks of frostweave. Thanks for the vid!

Are you Tailor? If I recall correct, tailors can loot extra cloth from mobs, so I wanted to check if those numbers you posted are affected by it or not
You can see the tailoring proffession to the right. So yes he is a tailor!
Yes I had tailoring! I feel like the bonus wasn’t even working though. I need to go back and see if I’m getting even more cloth after the latest Beta update.

the tailor bonus is only from northrend HUMANOIDS. these are undead.

they upped the dmg i think on the mobs

I've been doing this farm the past few days, still works like a charm! Made 1,500g in an hour yesterday (If all my Frostweave stacks sell)
Those skellies are too tough for my fresh lvl 80 mage with some leveling and heroic gear. I can pull 10 max and then I'm almost dead afterwards (arcane, no chill on the blizzard). Maybe as an ice mage I could do it, but I'm dirt poor because of enchanting, which is why I switched to the venture camp in Scholazar and Vyrkul villages in the Fjord.
my fresh 80 was able to do this with ease. but i was spec as a aoe mage.
By the way, your faction´s flying ship is closer to this location than Dalaran, I believe, you can vendor there.

Does this require a quest to be done? I don't see anything there, so either the hyper spawn is fixed, or I'm just missing something.
Shouldn’t require any quest. Maybe a quest phases it if it’s completed? I haven’t been back in about a week. I hope it’s not changed!

Just tried it again, and it's working exactly how you described it. Some of the servers were having some really bad lag issues, so it could have just been that.

Sounds pretty unlucky! I usually get 10+ stacks every 25-30m
There is better spot in icecrown. To west from Ymirheim. About 10 mobs in a pack, so many packs that 3+ ppl can farm at the same time.. Amazing for cloths + greens farming . When inventory is full of trash, fly to roaming ship (if no mammoth)
west of ymirheim is half the map
Doesnt work for mage, cant slow nor nova these mobs, immunity. Also they slow you right away.
this is not do able on dk at level 80 in wow classic just so you know
i think is patched since 2 day ? i fermed it during 1 week and now mobs dont spawn

if it gets enough attention, blizz will just nerf the loot

Why exactly you Go engi tailor?
Engineering for the rocket boots/crit, and glove enchant for Haste On Use, and Tailoring for the Cloak proc.
because it is the best in slot professions for casters
In early wotlk gemcrafting is a little bit better because you can chose your bonus and get capped for example. But in average in late game tailoring is the best damage provider

Agreed it sucks now, but I’m leaving it up in case there’s a Wotlk Classic realm ever again, or possibly for private servers. Changed the title to reflect it doesn’t work in Cata, also have a pinned comment and note in the description that it doesn’t work in Cata. Sorry for the confusion.

@@ClassicGho no it doesn't, it takes 4 minutes to re-spawn the mobs, and the two doorway guards are gone completely. only the two casters remain.

Wow, amazing find, if you kill mobs that drop cloth you can actually loot cloth and then you can kill them again when they respawn, wait.. just like any other mob in the game that drops cloth. Let the clickbait videos of wrath begin.
It’s not clickbait, you can force mobs to spawn…instead of having to wait 5 min like most other mobs.
