being a casual player who isn't good, I feel this season caters more to the casual audience with the new features such as sliding and swinging, also the wacky weather. They're more non serious features which you can have fun with which is amazing.
I am not sure how the sliding caters to the casual audience. but yeah I believe Fortnite really focuses on catering to the casual player base which is great for us and the game.

Exactly what i was thinking crazy to think chapter 2 season 2 is going on 3 years and chapter 1 season 1 is 5+ years old i played fortnite since d1 i was in 4th grade now im a freshman crazy to think time does fly, i remember watching ali a all night on school nights the nostalgia hits different to me so much fortnite will never have that legendary feeling i once had playing it i remember sneaking on my game in chapter 1 and getting whooped for it 😂 i havent played fortnite it like 3 months ill try chapter 4 but ill most likely just play casually because every time i try to play competitive i seem good against friends but suck against arena players good times man😆

New season is pretty awesome so far. The sliding is cool, the new map is solid, and the red dot sight gun is sick. The only thing that really disappointed me are the shotguns.
And the new sniper and I Don t like the two new shotguns so I will run the new smg as my close combat weapon.

The sliding mechanic is gonna go so far. This makes up for the previous garbage seasons

I wish epic to keep the map like this without massive map changes as it’s fun now since it’s simple but the sliding and weather mechanic will make it a bit complex for people who can take it as an advantage, the double vault is a great addition along with the mini boat around the sides of the map from chapter 2 season 3
You cannot even crouch anymore with that fcking sliding, and the mk7 if you ads it looks like youre playing warzone imo

This chapter is amazing it feels so fresh and original, and most of the guns feel good to use. Haven't gotten to fully explore the map yet but it looks really good. Battle pass skins are solid, I love Harlowe.

All of the older weapons have been replaced by “more modern versions” that have similar stats and styles for example the MK seven is The replacement for the scar although they are different they still serve about the same purpose and have a similar play style although the MK use a little more SMG then the scar but you get(maybe).
Except that the mk7 is first person, has a way higher fire rate, and a lot less damage, it's more like the tactical assault rifle

It’s pretty much just a combat ar with a scope and less recoil, I think the other ar is a little more like the scar except you trade firerate for range
the mk-7 is if they took the combat AR (second-best AR in the game, beaten by infantry) and removed most of the recoil and gave it a red-dot
The guns play completely different. Mk is nothing like the scar. The shotguns feel different from their so called counterparts. And the stinger feels like the rapid fire. The guns have no similarities. Besides the ranger assault rifle feeling like the OG AK.
Chapter 4 is a lot better but looking at the old videos and how surprised we are makes someone cry
Returning to this now that we are almost in chapter 4, the hype and fun of this season was real easily top 5 season of all time.
This is an amazing season and chapter. Hope it stays that way

The stinger smg has no damage drop off. It’s such a beam and just 2 hours ago I bloom battled a gold ranger ar. It’s honestly insane and I won that fight with 103 health left.

fun fact: when u are in the winter biomes, pay attention to ur characters face and u will notice that ur character will breathe out smoke because its cold. i think its quite cool cos fortnite really paid attention to detail for this chapter

Speed up crouching by making the keybind separate (I don't think there is a way to do this)
If sliding and crouching is the same button the game needs time to differentiate a crouch vs a slide.

The map is just art it doesn’t fill boring like the others the towns had a massive update in terms of look and this is every thing i ever wanted in fortnite it feels like im actually play a battle royal game i dont have any dislike’s about the season so far 10/10 the game is way better i feel like this map is the best we ever had and it feels balanced right now definitely grinding this game and the tents stashing for other games might be a lil broken you could should put the best guns in there and have for a different game overall the best season to me and yes i did just right a whole paragraph on day one of the season

The other seasons were OK like the war season, but chapter 3 season one was probably the best one out of all of them
The new striker pump is kinda op, it reminds me of the old pump were it would snipe people
I was trying it out in the lobby and I was like 15 meters away and did 50 damage with a green one
