      I’d like to see you review the hikoki oil impulse driver similar to the Milwaukee surge but it looks nice and supposedly a bit quieter than the Milwaukee and looks good, it can also use 14.4 or 18v packs and that WR36de mentioned I’ve had it about a year now as it’s one of the very few tools released in the states at close to the same time as Japan and it’s broken free Honda crankshaft bolts anything I’ve thrown at it surprisingly the only one out there stronger is the XGT which and the DCF 891 but if ur interested gimme a hollar I’d let you test it out to get ur hands on one test it up against others and man you need to try the flex inline belt driven circular saw it’s something else man

    Yes please to more Hikoki updates and reviews. I love my Makita XGT tools but the price of them compared to Hikoki is moving me towards Hikoki. Hikoki seem to of finally woken up and brought a range of new products out and even remembered to put them on their website here in the UK! I’m very impressed by the tools, no other tool brand feels as comfortable in my hand.

      I’ve brought Hikoki vacuum, which is terrible, suction is so poor and the hose fell to bits within a couple months, the plastic isn’t hardwearing at all
      Hikoki 36v circular saw, depth gauge has gone and just slips constantly and the spring in the blade guard has snapped within 3 months of owning it
      The impact driver is good and has lasted around about a year but now the collet is constantly getting stuck no matter how much oiling I do ect, the tools are good but they really aren’t made to last and survive a building site
      Makita on the other hand…

    Glad you included that compressor. It also lookes to be a high pressure compressor by the MPa rating, 1.5/1.9 being in the mid to hight 200 PSI range. I'm super curious how they ended up with that design (vs standard 100-120 psi in NA), and am jealous of the small nailers they have because of it.
    Bring on more metabo-hpt/hikoki!

    Still waiting to see the Track saw in any other market other than AU/NZ. Bought the pistol blower from Amazon Japan, really nice little tool. They still have plenty of holes in their line-up that need to be filled (1/4 sheet sander, detail sander, maybe a hand held spindle sander???)
    Problem is that any new larger batteries won't fit some of the current tools like the table saw. They would need to make an adapter of some kind. granted, I'm happy running it with the 2.5 and 4ah 36 batteries that we have now, or grabbing the AC adapter if I have power available.

    • @haZee1111
      @haZee1111 Před 5 měsíci

      I feel like until now mostly Metabo tools have been converted to the Hikoki battery platform, but not many Hikoki tools have been converted to Metabo CAS. As i'm on the CAS as well i hope this will chance in the future. There are a lot of tools that would come in handy, like the battery router or more nailers.

    • @robertkovacic4623
      @robertkovacic4623 Před 5 měsíci

      Smal router...it would be nice, but nailer...I doubt it, because Prebena is also in CAS...unless Prebena will also make MetaboHPT/Hikoki nailers...
      I was thinking more of simple tools, like lamps, radios, fans, USB charging adapters, etc... Maybe even small routers, because they require extensive accessories, and here an almost identical platform would bring lower prices... it's similar with their plunge saw, which shares most elements.

    • @haZee1111
      @haZee1111 Před 5 měsíci

      @@robertkovacic4623That's right, but a small finish nailer is missing nonetheless, for small 16-50mm nails for skirting for example... and afaik Metabo took the large nailer from Hikoki, so maybe there is hope. The tools you've mentioned are all available for CAS, good lights, a new radio just came out, a fan and a charging adapter are available as well.

      @@riba2233Considering how many battery to tool adaptors there are on the market for all the major brands which work well, I'd be interested to hear why you think that it would be so much harder? The Hikoki Multivolt and the Makita XGT both run at the same voltage. Definitely not saying you're wrong but genuinely interested to hear why you think it wouldn't work for this combination.

    • @riba2233
      @riba2233 Před 5 měsíci

      @@gnsavage1 xgt has proprietary digital communication which tools need to even start, it has been decoded but still not as simple as just connecting plus and minus and adding a resistor. Hikoki make some nice quality tools but their marketing department in the UK is shocking plus the range is restricted. I think if they had a full range, storage solution, and tailored accessories then they would sell ten fold.

      Some scalper was selling those tool boxes for £1300 on eBay. They are £300 for that stack you showed.

    It's pretty funny and ironic companies are adding cords to cordless tools and... batteries to corded tools😂

    Since I have both Makita LXT and Hikoki Multivolt plus Bosch 12V I like you to do more other tools as well. I also have some Ryobi tools since the first battery drill I got was a Ryobi we used in my mother's temporary apartment 15 years ago and that drill still works with no other issue then the LED light stopped working.

    the hikoki blower is now available in some European countries and the vacuum is a rebadge of the metabo vacuum or if you are in Australia total tools home brand but in a 240v configuration.

    I mean making a 4p 8ah 36v battery shouldnt be out of the equation. The 4ah is just 2 18v 4ah batteries pieced together, quite literally. So why would they butcher the one thing that makes them unique by releasing 36v only batteries.

    • @ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL
      @ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL  Před 3 měsíci

      If they release a 4P 8Ah like Makita hve, it won't fit on A LOT of their tools.

    • @james2042
      @james2042 Před 3 měsíci

      @@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL I could count 5, the 18v 6-1/4in circular saw, the 36v table saw, the 36v 2 gallon air compressor, and 2 18v lights. For 5 tools, I don't see it being a show stopper, especially with 3 being lower powered 18v tools

      @@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL from my experience with Hikoki 18v-36v multi volt units, at least 3 had to be taken back and replaced for showing similar faults described as malfunctioning chips. Could be coincidence or “bad luck “ I guess
