I can't believe someone would describe 63 as 'a good innings'. It's no age these days. Chris Chittell seems like a lovely man. I remember seeing him pay tribute to Stan Richards and he got very emotional then too.
I am 40 years old and can remember emmerdale since I was a child when my grandfather used to watch it with us all. Clive has been one of the best characters in the show and I for one an sad to see a great man, and a great actor pass away. My thoughts are with his family and his memory for me, will always be there at emmerdale each time it is on. R.I.P. Clive - gone, but never forgotten. x
