that The Book is flipping amazing. oh my goodness. I read Dust Storm, and I enjoyed the heck out of it, it but I think I liked the second one a bit more. Project Hail Mary is pretty much a lot amazing, don't be afraid. I don't think I'm a sci-fi person either but I laughed, I cried, and months later my heart still clenches when I think about spoiler spoiler. this was a very satisfying haul.
Isn't it so cool!! I'm happy to hear a good review for Dust Storm! I didn't know it was part of a series, so I'll need to add that to my wishlist. And Ahhh you've definitely made me more excited for Project Hail Mary 🚀 ...I need to know what "..spoiler spoiler" is!! 😋 LOL
@@jenseereads I'm easy to please when it comes to romances, I read one 1 star review and they would've liked it if the two mains had boxed instead (or something like that). there are 3 books in the series, and 2 are out. oh! spoiler spoiler is when ... and then... and yeah.

the plated prisoner series isn't ''spicy'' until book 3. the romance is slowburn and the entire series has major triggers. gold is book 5 and book 6, goldfinch, is coming out in september. anyway it's one of my favourite series but go into it with the right expectations.
Kingdom of the Cursed is my number 1 fav fantasy romance series too.
I found all three once upon a broken heart books in the UK versions for $13 or less on eBay if you want the second one that way.

ok so Serpent and the wings of night was originally indie published and then picked up by a traditional publisher. The Novella is "Six scorched roses" and has some lore connected to the series. There is another book she wrote that has lore that is connected to this series but it's a stand alone called "Slaying the vampire conqueror". There will be six books in the series in total with two books each dedicated to a specific couple and a specific court. This first duo is for the house of night and the next will be for the house of shadow.

I'll be surprised if I don't like it though, it's got my two fave things; vampires & a competition (I think) lol And I REALLY need to read Plated Prisoner this year 😅 but I think I might wait until fall..it gives me those vibes for some reason lol

PROJECT HAIL MARY is so so good ! Quite complicated to read if you're not into science but honestly it was wholesome.

I LOVED Serpent and the Wings of the Night. Definitely get the novella for the Crown of Nyaxia series. I loved it, and it introduces you to new characters in the Ashes book. I have read the Ashes book yet. Hopefully soon!

I believe goldfinch is the last book in the plated prisoner series! I stopped reading after gleam but I might pick it up again once the last one comes out bc I hate waiting for the next book 😭

19:35 if you haven't read life of pi, it fits that concept perfectly!! he's stuck on a life raft with a bengal tiger. lots of backstory in the beginning, but it does pick up!!

I just read serpent and the wings of night last week and loved it! I hope you like it as well! There is also a novella I highly recommended you read before the second book called six scorched roses that makes it so much better.

I got the "Once Upon A Broken Heart" books as well and i'm soooo bummed out that the first 2 are standard paperback sizes and the 3rd is trade paperback size....but I was impatient and now 3 months after I got them the 3rd book was released in the standard paperback size and I can't justify buying another copy since I can't return the one I have..so I feel your pain when it comes to different edition series books xD
