I pulled for BootHill & his light cone because I enjoyed playing an awful lot of Hunt, such as Sushang and Dr Ratio. Playing Hunt in a nutshell is target one enemy and deal as much damage as you. Unfortunately I won’t be pulling Firefly but too those are pulling Firefly I wished you all the best of luck👍🏻
i got fu xuan and went from not clearing moc 1 to clearing moc 5 (edit: i'm 29 days into the game and only had adventurine and lynx before)

@bepo1702 i have the whole fua ipc team, and that team cleared even if the enemy wasn't weak to imaginary or fire. The problem was the second team i had a not very badly equipped jingliu,e0 tingyun,e2 pela and lynx which just couldn't sustain the team well enough. After i got fu xuan my jingliu actually had enough time to kill stuff and the hp boost from fu xuan even increased my jingliu's damage.

@@pokedude3221 lynx is fine until moc 11-12. I only know this because from 1.5 -2.1, I was stuck with lynx and natasha. Mostly just did sustainless runs tho
I just pulled for the Fu Xuan's LC. She was already doing fine with the Herta 5* LC, but I feel she deserves her signature for the work she put in for me since her original run. 😂
How much better is it? I'm running the March LC and I want to know if it's worth the upgrade
@donnyv4750 Idk about the March LC. I had the Herta shop LC on her before this. It's more of a side grade, if anything. She can tank and ult a little bit better and the 9% damage boost for the team is nice. But nothing game-changing.

Gepard lightcone or 5star herta lightcone. Which better?
@kitanahasw7830 Gepard's gives a lot of defense % and aggro boost, both of which benefit Fu Xuan greatly if you wanna ignore having an ER rope due to being targeted more often and makes building defensive substats easier. It won't have the insane shield the herta cone has but the passive is much more consistent and useful.
I have a lack of sustains and quantum. I did however have a lot of preservation mats, the lc from herta shop maxed out and a space for her.
I have fu xuan at last and love her. I can prep a build for boothill on rerun, which will most likely be sooner than fu’s next one.
got fu xuan i have 50 pulls and no pity on both banners but i want jade + lc should i go for fuxuan lc and if so would i have enough for jade and her lc?

@@Emerald-kun It's not really coping though Fu Xuan is a luxury pull, you don't need her for sustain, 4 star options can do the job. It's not the same for Himeko , she's just busted in pure fiction and there's no replacement for her there.
@@ScaryYokai I think you're missing the point; it's not about which unit is better, but which unit OP originally wanted. He wanted Fu Xuan (pulled on her banner after all), but got Himeko instead.
Regardless of Himeko's viability in Pure Fiction, @scorn7005 is still... Fu Xuan-less. Thus, he's coping.

Got Boothill, now I need his LC. I don't really have any use for Fu Xuan because I have Luocha and Aventurine

Fu's lc is absolutely not a recommendation, cuz most probably ruan mei will either rerun with or right after firefly. Wait until the livestream in case u want her (u want her if u don't have her)
It definitely is a recommendation. If you have Fu Xuan, her lc is insanely good, the HP, ER and healing go a very long way and make her an even better sustain. Sure its not necessary, but VERY recommended.

Luckily, I already got her and her light cone on her first run, so Boothill is the obvious choice. Sadly lost 50/50 to Bronya c1, but at least I can have better skill point usage with that and her lightcone
what's the "upcoming break meta"?
I want boothill since he reminds of vash from trigun. I'm hesitent to get him because I don't have ruan mei and she's basically a "must pull" for break characters. So I probably won't get him this time around and wait until we get some more be support options.
I'm a newer player so the sample size isn't there but I've lost more light cone 75-25s than character 50-50s so far. I pulled fu xuan and boothill and then lost both of their light cones 😭
Oof thats some bad luck but look at the bright side! at least you're guaranteed on LC for the next character thats probably gonna be stronger
If f2p, pulling lightcones is a bad decision. Just pull some good 4 star , have herta store lc and superimpose them with herta store material.
They will give u more value than premium 5 star lc.
Many CC also said that LC is a scam.
@@soulfulhuman8724pretty sure that mostly applies to genshin, and ye, being f2p is a struggle, but if you are pulling for the lc with hsr's more forgiving lc pity system, it sure as hell worth alot.

This one is kind of obvious, Boothill will be easily replaceable as soon as a DPS ST with higher numbers launches while Fu Xuan offers a very different and valuable type of Sustain that no other character is capable of while also buffing your entire team. However, this is 100% from a META's perspective , feel free to go after whoever you prefer

Simply get both chracters within 50 rolls. Bragging aside, Boothill has been my most wanted character and im so happy he came home on the very first pull. His damage is so stupid even eithout Ruan Mei. Once i get her though Boothill is perfect.
I got Aventurine in like 10 when I was starting out. I think that drained all my luck because now I can’t pull anything

Gallagher is literally the most SP efficient sustain in the team and Fu Xuan light cone is bait
(F2P) Got both Fu Xuan and Boothill with only minimal of 40 tickets not gonna care about eidolons or their lightcones after my ninety loss for Aventurine i'm not putting my luck on those! Giatra Tryclops gave me pity after Aventurine! Dang Yanqing why did you come and not your only best sustain!

I’m sorry @Toshi, I cannot believe I bullied a youtuber into changing their pronunciation of a name into two letters.
Although he can implant Phys weakness, he does not apply -20% phys RES unlike Silver Wolf. So Ruan Mei’s Ult’s 25% All-type RES pen is not in any way, a diminishing return in relation to Boothill’s implant. According to what ai heard you saying while also typing this out.
fuxuan's lightcone is really bait. E1 is kinda bad too but it definitely contributes a lot more to cycle clears and is more universal for crit dpses.
There is no way fuxuan ever needs more help to survive and with the introduction of trend for acheron it is even less useful.
Imagine spending almost 1 char worth of pulls for 9% more dmg increase which is basically nothing(translates to 3-4% damage increase in most teams). Fu Xuan can survive just fine in MoC 12 using landau's or day one of my new life with very average gear so the additional ehp is worthless.
For people with really really bad relic and gear struggling to survive even lower level MoCs .. within a month or so you will fix the issue with your team and fuxuan with average relics but those pulls will be gone forever
Also here are some basic napskin math for Fuxuan's E1. For a character with 200 crit damaage the 30% crit damage is 3.3/3 = 10% more total damage if sparkle gives this char 100% crit damage it becomes 4.3/4 = 7.5% more total damage
Fu Xuan lc is absolutely not bait, idk where you got that from. I know of people who saved a lot JUST for her lc because the stats it gives are so helpful in longer fights. We all know Fu Xuan struggles a bit in longer fights cuz she really wants her ult stack and her ult uptime can suck a bit and her lc helps a lot with that.
@@Electro4890 imagine if they had spent the pulls on FX's lightcone on an eidolon for their support to make the whole account much better eg like Ruan Mei's E1, Robin's E1, Silver wolf's E1 or even Ruan Mei's S1 that allows for 0 turn ultimates on high energy cost ultimates (like ratio's etc) when paired with tingyun etc. all of them significantly make the cycles shorter and the fights easier in MoC. There is no way anyone who has at least average - 1/2 decent gear will spent long that long eg 15+ cycles in MoC . even then as long as their Fu Xuan isn't on garbage relics she should still surivive.
lol I don't doubt that you know a lot of people who got her light cone JUST for this and that reason ( she has a perfectly fine 4 turn ultimate with an ERR rope and any lightcone and most of the time especially with landau's this becomes a 3 turn ultimate)... just like I know a lot of people who got Seele's eidolons even though they are the worst eidolons in the game eg almsot 0 difference in cycle clears btwn an E2/E6 Seele and an E0. In other words .... they got baited
@@TheVengeful0ne The video explains why Fu lc is great, but also the QoL features in it are really nice. Also the lc allows you to be a lot more comfy with the way you play, the hp, the extra dmg, the er, they all help with making her as good as she can be. Once again, its not necessary, but a great upgrade. And its not a bait because the people I know who pulled for her lc and even made it a priority, are very knowledged about the game, even more than me.
Fu xuan LC is really one of the worse LCs to pull. She can sustain just fine with Gepard LC/ Landau's choice, and it doesn't help you clear faster

At the end of the day it is their money.. it is just a bit disappointing that a content creator is recommending it. Imagine pulling a limited lightcone to heal when farming calyxes/su when people can just use the free wildfire one to healat the start of every fight. The dude I have been talking to on this thread probably pulled for the lc and now feel obliged to justify his spendings lol . he has replied to other comments here telling people to pull for the LC
Blasted all of my 80 wishes for Fu and it was 100% worth it. I can finally replace my Luocha. Aventurine and Fu Xuan will be the only sustains I’ll need until the nerf or powercreep Preservation.
Shouldn't have pulled since Luocha will practically be benched, which is a waste of your pulls
fu xuan fails the basics of a tank and legit just a buffer that heals the only good thing u take part from her is the crit bonus she gives
