I’m new to Cartomancy. I see the deck as the Minor Arcanas where the heart is cups, spades is swords, diamond is pentacles, and then clubs is wands!

I also see the similiraty between Poker deck suits and Tarot deck minor arcana. The question is...What's the use of the Joker? Is it some kind of Major Arcana like for example The Fool? Thanks in advance.
I use the 54 card deck with the two Jokers. I came up with a system I can use Regular playing to represent all "every" Card in the Rider Waite Tarot Deck. My system allows one to use the 54 card deck to represent all 78 cards of the Rider Waite Tarot Deck.
The way I do this is I use a regular poker deck with two Jokers. I use the hearts and spades to represent the Major Arcana and also the Minor Arcana cards. The way I do this is I write on top of the cards from the Ace of Hearts to the ten of hearts. The Ace of Hearts I have THE MAGICIAN written across the top, The two of Hearts I have THE HIGH PRIESTESS written across the top, The three of Hearts I have THE EMPRESS written across the top, The four of Hearts I have THE EMPEROR written across the top, The five of Hearts I have THE HIEROPHANT written across the top, The six of Hearts I have THE LOVERS written across the top, The seven of Hearts I have THE CHARIOT written across the top, The eight of Hearts I have STRENGTH written across the top, The nine of Hearts I have THE HERMIT written across the top, The ten of Hearts I have WHEEL OF FORTUNE written across the top. Now I write across the top of the spades cards as; The Ace of spades I have JUSTICE written across the top, The two of spades I have THE HANGED MAN written across the top, The three of spades I have DEATH written across the top, The four of spades I have TEMPERANCE written across the top, The five of spades I have THE DEVIL written across the top, The six of spades I have THE TOWER written across the top, The seven of spades I have THE STAR written across the top, The eight of spades I have THE MOON written across the top, The nine of spades I have THE SUN written across the top, and The ten of spades I have JUDGEMENT written across the top. That Leaves The Fool and THE WORLD Left Which I write on top of each joker. One Joker has THE FOOL written on it and the other Joker has THE WORLD written on the top of it.
Now how you do a reading When you turn over a card and the word that is written across the top is at the top you read it as it's Major Arcana's meaning and if the name is at the bottom when it is flipped over in a reading you read it as the Minor Arcana meaning in a reading
Now all the Jacks is written Pageat the top and Knight at the bottom. If in a reading the word page is at the top it's read as being the page, but if the word night is at the top it is read as the night
The Minor Arcana to Suit conversion is as this (Cups= Hearts) (Pentacles=Diaminds) (Wands= Clubs) (Swords= Spades)
You can also number your cards as it is in the Tarot deck if you like.
All you would have to do now is find a lesson on how to read Tarot cards and get you a regular Poker Deck and you are set.
That's impressive. One good way to "hide" your tarot if you have prying, disapproving eyes around.

@@DanielleAndersonCT I had read another way to do this but didn't like the way they said to do it. Their way was a way you didn't have to write on your cards. If a joker was to come up you would turn over a card on the joker and if it was a red card it represented the first 10 cards of the major arcana card and if it was black card it represented the last ten of the arcana cards minus the FOOL and the WORLD in which if a face card was drawn it would represent the FOOL if it was Red and the World if it was Black. The Jacks also you would flip another card over to represent either the Page or Knight. If a red card was on the Jack it would represent the page and if a Black card was flipped on the Jack it would represent the Knight.
I could have done it this way but you only Got two Jokers and cut your chances of flipping a Major Arcana card down to only two chances in a whole reading. So I thought of this way so I got more and a chance for drawing the Major arcana cards.
I'll admit I'm not a tarot expert - only casually acquainted with the symbology.

@@DanielleAndersonCT I think everybody is different. I think people energies bond different with the cards. They seem to get a personality of their own. Just like people after being around them you automatically know how they react and what they are trying to express through their action. The same with the Cards. You get use to how they respond to question and know what they are expressing. No expert really it's your own way of bonding energies with the cards.
Blowing on stuff goes way back. Some people do it not knowing why they do so. Like some blow on Dice when playing craps. They probably do it out of compulsion not really about removing negative energies from the dice or removing bad luck. I like either using sage to smudge or sea salt and sprinkle the deck with it then turn over to have the salt fall from the deck and imagine all the negative energies dropping off with it. I will watch all your videos eventually. I love learning other people's ideas about the cards.

Cuz we were all young once and did some dumb things.
Ooo, I collect cards and shuffle a bit. I don't like anyone to touch my cards either. I only make 1 exception for letting someone touch my cards, that is to learn, but I usually keep a spare deck laying around for the purpose of letting someone else use while I teach visual passes. I don't want someone else's dirty hands on my personal gear. But that's just me.

Wolfgang Buck card reading is not the same as doing tricks with cards.
I happen to enjoy card mechanics, manipulation and magic tricks too. I never had the dexterity.

my bro had a deck for fortune telling along with a booklet of explanations. The only one to come true consistently was, "there will be a dispute or fight directly in front of you" as I remember, nothing else ever happened.

I did the “quick answer” reading with one card instead of three and when I asked the question the joker appeared. Can you please tell me the meaning of that. Is it a yes or a no?
Joker means *uncertain". I would pull the Jokers and ask again.

Is it okay for us to buy the deck ourselves? I read in a book that someone else is supposed to give us the deck as a gift. Is that true?

Divination Using Normal Cards
Divination describing the meaning of each of the cards in a regular playing deck when used for fortune-telling.
Hearts:
Aces- Happiness, love, friendship
King- a fair-haired man, affectionate and generous but impetuous
Queen- a fair-haired woman, trustworthy
Jack- a fair-haired young person, a good friend
10- good fortune, happiness
9- the "wish" card; desires come true
8- invitations, but also partings
7- someone is unreliable
6- unexpected good fortune; generosity
5- jealousy, indecision
4- changes, possibly travel or postponements
3- need for caution
2- success, friendship
Diamonds:
Ace- a money, ring
King- fair-haired man, stubborn and powerful
Queen- fair-haired woman, flirtatious, sophisticated, witty
Jack- a relative, someone not quite reliable

8- late marriage or new relationship; unexpected money

HEARTS:
Darker blonds - light brown hair, blue/hazel eyes.

DIAMONDS:
Very fair, grey or white hair, blue/grey eyes.
Youth. Practical, acquisitive, curious, lucky, reasoning.
Mundane: General life conditions, money, fortune.
CLUBS:
Brown - auburn hair, brown eyes.
Maturity. Aspiring, adventurous, goal-seeking, clever, intelligent.
Mundane: Enterprise, business, achievement.
SPADES:
Black - very dark hair, black/very dark eyes.
Elderly or Widow(er). Staunch, consistant, calculating, just, severe.
Mundane: Misfortune, losses, difficulties.
I can understand not flipping the cards from the bottom to reveal them with tarot because in tarot it matters if the card is in contrary (upside down) or not but seeing as these are the same right side up or upside down I don’t see how it matters...
It really doesn't. What matters is consistency. However you flip, keep doing that throughout the reading.
I'm not sure if you will ever read this but must try. Haven't done cartomancy before but yes to tarot (yrs ago). Bought a new deck. While watching a movie tonight shuffled the deck and then intentionally forced cards opposite direction as it felt I should. After 45 minutes looked at the deck and EVERY single card was in the upright position. This cannot be?! How? Wasn't paying attention, just wanted to get feel of cards. Has this happened to anyone else?
My grandma taught my dad how to read playing cards but he wouldn't teach me said he was scared of what he may read
My mom reads tarot and she always takes the death and the tower card out when she reads for me 😹

At a glance, it appears to have something to do with an uncertainty in a partnership of some kind - a business deal perhaps.
Knowing what you're reading for, specifically will greatly influence the interpretation of the cards.

First of all. Thank you for this video, I just learned a more interactive way of doing a yes or no answer yet I am unsure of how to accurately try it for my self. I did in fact enjoy the card shuffling techniques. At this moment I have not read any of your other videos but have Subscribed and added Notifications for receiving new content. I am uncertain if you believe in angels living in this world but I do have a close relationship to them and they speak to me when I do my Cartomancy. That being said, among your reads I read the Past Present Future from the cards you laid out. In this layout you had Past - 2 of Clubs - meaning to me that my new angel is learning to read cards from your example video and is new to the family. Hence he is using the Past. The Present - 6 of Diamonds - being that at the present you are utilizing Luciferian card techniques. Future - King of Hearts - known as the suicide king that has weighed his life on moral decisions and is being led by the Queen of Hearts with the sword in his brain. I am seeing this in the future tense of the video. I would like to hear a response in regards to your meaning and whether you want my spin on some of my card interpretations.

As long as the cards are well shuffled, it doesn't much matter. That can be up to your intuition.

does it make a difference when a queen or king reversed? like does it mean a stronger yes if its a red queen? or is it as same as the other cards with numbers?
Red is red and black is black... In a yes/no reading, the numbers and faces don't really make a difference.
For this system there is no reverse.
In this yes no spread value of numbers doesn't matter , whether it's a 2 a low value or 10 a high value of black or red ?

When looking for "simple" answers with this method, the face value on the cards don't make a difference. However, if you wanted to explore more details one could then consider the Meaning of each card.
The cards aren't weighted by points, but by their symbolism.

After you've done the reading and have your answer. I return the cards to the deck and shuffle them before putting them away.

This is the Maverick deck by USPC. They don't make them in the US anymore sadly, but outsourced the production to china. They are way inferior to the originals.

It does have its similarities, but Cartomancy is certainly its own thing.
I know Robert Lee Camp and most cardologist see the clubs as wands in the tarot deck but I don't.
It doesn't make sense. Hearts of course is love and emotion so it is the cups suit in the tarot. Since clubs is the mind/ knowledge/ thought/ speaking etc. to me it is the swords suit in the tarot as the swords is the air element. Even if you look at the description of the King of Clubs it matches perfectly with the King of Swords. I see spades as the wands suit as it is all about work and the 10 of spades is the workaholic card just like the 10 of wands is a hard working card. the 10 of swords in the tarot deck is not about working hard at all.

Preferably yes, but you only need a quick one, 2-3 times.
Im magician and im learning to become a reader and i wanna use my only deck of cards does the magician shuffle matter if youre doing a self reading kust asking
It does not. I would suggest getting a deck just for reading and keep your trick deck separate.

If it's brand new no less than seven. After that just make sure that they're shuffled thoroughly between reading (no less than three).

That's something that happens in manufacturing. Card decks are printed on a sheet and if there are blanks, they can be filled with Jokers, company information, poker rules, etc.

Hi… i was trying to do a cartomancy reading (although i dont even know how to play cards) for a question. I was just playing right but then my intiution just told to pick a particular card. It was 7 of clubs.Then another, i again pulled 7 but this time it was 7 of hearts.
I just shook it off thinking it was my own mind playing tricks.
Today i tried using them and i intiutively felt like drawing only half of cards out of the stack and voila underneath those cards was a 7 of spades and then another 7 of diamonds came out again. Does this have some meaning? I do feel connected to the cards buy im not sure what they are trying to tell me, but they are surely trying to tell me something.
Is it ok to shuffle in between each pull?

It's the blue Maverick deck. You can get it pretty much anywhere - drug store, Walmart or even some dollar stores.
It's made by the same people that make Bicycle.
Oh crap. I threw away all my joker cards coz I thought they were of no use plus they looked kinda annoying tbh..lol
They definitely can be useful, but they are optional. Don’t feel bad you can work without them.

@@DanielleAndersonCT I asked a simple qn like, will I receive the letter from my bank today (which is due) and the cards said yes but in reality, I didn't. Plus, I get different results each time I pick a card with the same question. I have trouble using my intuition hence the messy results. But then again, how do you use your intuition to pick your cards? I just don't feel any intuitive urges - so, I don't know when to stop shuffling and I'm not drawn to any cards specifically. So far, I've tried shuffling and spreading the cards on the table.
I think the answer is in the questions. It’s not what or how you ask, but who you ask. Divination is about going beyond your self. If we could all trust ourselves, we wouldn’t need tools lol.
I recommend practicing meditation and prayer to be more receptive.

You can if you're comfortable. Just be consistent through the reading.
I asked if i am a girl and it had two black cards that means a “No” while i am a girl 😂 so ig the yes and no option with these cards doesnt work?
Do we ask questions about the future only? Or any tense??
You can ask anything you want. If you're doing a yes/no reading though, present and future would be most cases I would imagine.
