Nice work as always man! Those AEM 340 pumps are supposed to be great. I've always used walbro 255's and 450's as well but would definitely go with the AEM if a deal popped up. I have heard of cases where the hose slipped off the outlet, IIRC the solution was to score the plastic outlet to give the hose some traction. Probably only an issue in cases where the hose is longer, there's not really anywhere for it to go in that hanger.
@Bye401K one thing I’ve read about converting from carb to efi is that the tanks don’t have the baffles it should to prevent the pump from going dry in turns when it’s low. It’s not an issue for carbs because they have a fuel bowl to make up for it. A lot of guys put a low pressure pump in the tank that fills an external sump, then the high pressure pump is in the sump and never runs dry from fuel slosh.
I was thinking about this and was planning on running a surge tank but not sure if I would actually get the use out of it in the end. Also some surge tanks can get extremely expensive. Non the less that is great info.
@@Bye401K one solution is to never let your tank for under 1/3 level, but that’s risking the pump going dry, fuel pressure dropping and the engine going lean air/fuel mix and burning up valves. I think I’ll either install baffles of some sort or an external sump in my RA29 tank.

Thanks man !. The barb will vent to atmosphere. No need for a vac source on a NA car.
