Is Diane still part of that church ? When I came to God, six years ago, I didn't start going to church. I studied the Bible by myself and found that God would point me in the right direction with online resources or show me things in the Bible it's self. Pryor to coming to God. I had a vision where I was flying, about a 100 feet up. It was dark and desolate and a Godless place. When I looked down all I could see was large church sand stones broken up and scattered all over the place. The vision lasted only a few seconds.
The priest was already going in the wrong direction, suggesting that her good works were enough to save her. :( He should have asked her than and there if she believed on Jesus as the perfect propitiation for her sins.
