  • A huge colony of bees was living in this backyard playground equipment and I was called to remove them. This was a really big hive of very gentle bees and this entire removal took about 3 hours, but it was a real pleasure to work alongside this colony the entire time. I hope you enjoy watching this removal as much as I enjoyed doing it, and thank you for supporting me and the bees!

I used to be pathologically afraid of bees. But ever since I started watching you on TikTok and CZcams, I’m not as afraid of them as I used to be. Today while I was waiting for my Uber at the curb, I noticed some bees working on a flowering bush next to me. Instead of leaving that spot, I just sat there watching them. It was really nice not being afraid to be around bees anymore. 😊 🐝

My daughter had an unfortunate misunderstanding with a yellow jacket when she was three, which ended in the insect's death and her having acquired a serious fear of all things that look bee-like. She found your videos a couple of weeks back, and now she can't stop talking about you, your videos and how she wants to keep bees like you when she's older. Thank you for making these videos: you've gotten through to her more clearly in a couple of weeks than I have in years on how awesome, gentle and bee-utiful our little golden sun-dancing friends are.

Where I used to work one morning we found a swarm of bees hanging from the branch of a small tree. We contacted a local bee keeper. When he arrived he casually placed a cardboard box under the bees, gave them a little smoke, then gently shook them down into the box. He placed the box on the back seat of his car and drove away, all this with no protective clothing or hood. It seems some people have a natural affinity with bees, just as others do with dogs or horses.

I used to be so scared of bees, but after I watched your videos, I realized they wouldn’t harm me if I didn’t harm them. I may want to *BEE* a beekeeper once I’m older, because recently, I found a small, yet beautiful hive hiding in a small corner of my outdoor shed. I found where the entrance was, and slowly pulled boards off, my parents knew I was doing this, and they wanted to put bug repellent on me but I harshly refused. The bees were quite gentle, I got 2 buckets, one for the comb and one for the bees themselves because I didn’t have a proper hive. I wanted them to not feel as though they were being kicked out, so I started scooping bees into the bucket and putting their comb in the other. Surprisingly, I found the queen in my second handful, so I put her in a small, takeout container along with some worker bees, and I rehomed them to the edge of my fence where no one in my family goes. Though maybe next time, I’ll wear protective stuff, because although they were quite gentle, I rehomed them, with 5 stings.

There are hundreds of what they call solitary bees, too.
You can buy or make little houses for them.
You don't have to do anything else - they just use the holes/tubes to put their babies in. You will see the holes blocked up so you know there are little bees in there with food.
Also, to help bees, you can put a shallow bowl of water with marbles in it during hot summer days for the bees.
Many die of dehydration or drown in water sources that are too deep trying to get some water.
We plant a lot of flowers and decorative plants that we know bees love. :)

Thank you and everyone else that make videos like this. I've shown my children videos like this and I believe it has 💯 changed their mind on bees. My son and daughter both now will let bees crawl on their hands now and are definitely not afraid anymore. Keep up the bee tutorials and showing how bees are not out to harm people and how they truly help every other living thing on this earth. ❤

There are few channels that are wholesome. This is one of those few that are. Ever since I found it, I have enjoyed the peacefulness that comes from being so calm around such an important species. I think that saving bee populations is just as important as saving ourselves. Without bees, our world would cease to function properly.

No matter where you Live, there are very likely bee keepers nearby. Check local cooperative extension offices and online. Not all beekeepers will tackle an existing established colony but “feral” colonies established (in buildings or tree hollows), tend to have superior genetic that may help managed colonies resist diseases and parasites. I know from experience that an “Overly defensive”colony established in a residence can be a problem but the “just kill ‘em” approach is seldom used successfully because a cavity once occupied gives off a scent that attracts swarms looking for a new home. BE Smart. Call a BeeKeeper!!

My dad keeps bees (this is the start of his second year) and I’ve always been fascinated by the fuzzy little dudes! Its amazing how docile they were with you! And wow what a gorgeous hive they built! Its so cool how individuals in the hive, even of the same type have different markings too, and wow what a HUGE queen bee!! I’m in love with this. Subbed!!

Thank you for your patience and calm demeanor. So few know how to react to bees, and how much we humans depend on their incredibly important work. Without bees and other pollinating insects like them humanity as we know it today could not survive.
So your work may not be as audience gathering and flashy as a combat soldier's but your work is at least as important as theirs.
