  • Another ride over Blind saddle to stay at Warden Hut. Dave, a mate from UK, was over so I had to take him over my favorite track, to enjoy the fantastic scenery on the way. Ross rode with us to the Saddle, then him and Liz rode up to the Saddle to meet us on the way out. No-one was disappointed with the views.

Hi. I've only ridden as far as Goose Flat Hut on my acoustic bike. So sorry I've no idea about the other tracks first hand. I know the owners of Muzel station are very receptive for bikes & trampers using their tracks e.t.c. Sorry i can't be of more help. Keep safe.

My bike has the same battery size. I did it last time on one battery. You just have to manage it & only use trail when absolutely necessary. It's an awesome ride & is very doable as a day ride. It's at its best when there's some snow on the tops.
