- Day four see's the other lads start the day trying out the heated outdoor swimming pool after a little banter between ourselves.
After which we get geared up for a ride out to the Valley of the Rocks near Lynmouth/Lynton.
to stop off and investigate the sheer hugeness off the rocks themselves and fly the Mavic Pro drone around a bit.
We then continue on to Bridgewater for a late lunch before carrying on to a lovely pub called the Exeter Inn.

top class again enjoyed it
Cheers fella a couple more to come yet.
The valley of rocks was known to the Bristol Chanel pilots as “shitty come out” because of the way the winds funnel off the land and into the Bristol Channel, one min you could be sailing along nicely and the next the boat is pushed over with her the gunnels a wash!
I’ve sailed past it many times as a child and also in my own boat and we were always told that story by the older men as we sailed past...the Bristol pilots were traditionally from the village of Pill, Somerset and go back over 500 years including piloting John Cabot’s Matthew to sea for the America’s!
Next time you pass over the M5 Avonmouth bridge have a look down and you will see the village on the banks in the muddy river Avon!
Just a bit of history I thought I’d share about the area Steve and another enjoyable video, cheers lads...
Wow cheers for that Pill always love it when a viewer enlightens me with additional information about the places we travel to, so really appreciate you taking the time to let us know some history, thanks very much my friend.
Steve, thank you for posting, Devon is very picturesque.
Pleased your enjoying it Alistair

Hi Steve, have followed your videos and this one was excellent and incorporating the music from Jurasic Park was really atmospheric and perfect for your drone footage. Have owned both the BMW 1200rt and now own a Pan Euro 1300 and getting a bit heavy now but prefare the v4 engine to the BMW. Glad you happy with your choice though. Great series cheers.
Thanks Phil thats the reason I swapped bikes the pan just got to heavy or i would still have iot my friend.
Steve, Bring those bikes and your pals to Montana next summer and I’ll show you some more spectacular scenery at Glacier & Yellowstone National Parks.
I have the same bike as yours. 06 R1200RT. Red as well.

Thanks Graham appreciate the comment and pleased you enjoyed it. Stick with the drone my friend you'll soon have the hang of it, can remember my early days was scared stiff I'd lose it or hit something but you get braver the more you use it.

Definitely managed to capture the fun of mates away on tour👍 I'm always impressed at what can be captured with the drone, there is always that thought while flying though "please don't crash" especially while over the sea!
Thanks again for putting this together, enjoyed it.
Thanks Richard thats the main reason for doing this series the drone footage. stay safe fella

Thanks Devon is beautiful with some great places to visit. And lots of drone opportunities. Stay safe you two.
Steve Clark Thanks Steve! We’ve just got back from a 6 day trip through Dorset and Devon. Just like you, had a great time! 😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries hopefully filmed by yourselves and if so look forward to watching them. Oh and hope your mic worked unlike mine LOL
Steve Clark Yes we did film it - coming soon! No problems with mics for us- we’re not miced up on the bikes 👍😀
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries look forward to them bigtime and of course your style is different in the fact you add audio after.
Great landscape dronage. The sun lounger scene was priceless. Looked like a great time was had. The ride along the north devon coast is very picturesque. Shame you weren't able to capture more of it, but what you have got is excellent.
Mate we have the best times together, never a bad word and heaps of laughs thanks for watching fella
Nice drone footage. Not sure about the shorts though. Should've been a warning about that: Some viewers may find the following footage shocking :)
Thanks for watching Vincent and taking the time to comment and apologies for the distress caused by the shorts lol 😂🤣. Keep safe my friend.
Enjoyed riding with you Steve good set of mates to be with thanks again 👍
Mate we have the best times together, never a bad word and heaps of laughs thanks for watching fella

Phew!!!!!!! That rock formation was something special, was'nt it,cracking vid as always Steve ;-)
Ride Safe Baza \m/
Cheers Baza and yeah those rocks were amazing mate, stay safe mate
Another great clip Mr C, that drone stuff is really good - I'm surprised with the engineering types in your crew that you didn't stop in Lynmouth to check out the funicular cliff railway that powers itself up the cliff to Lynton; them there Victorians knew how to build stuff!
thanks for watching fella and watch out for ep 5 maybe a railway may appear :-)
Hi Steve, yes I did post a comment earlier, and it sounds like you got the gist ! I don't know what's going on with YT lately mate., some other channels I follow are saying they are not receiving all the comments (not from me) I notice my earlier comment has 'disappeared'. Thanks for all your hard work rescuing the footage, some lovely drone work as always! Looks like you guys had a great time, which is what matters at the end of the day.
Does my head in as like to reply to everyone but when I can't it's frustrating. Pleased you got this in the end fella and thank you for letting me know. Stay safe fella
@@Steve-Clark Aye, I know what you mean mate, but best not to stess about owt you can't do nothing about I always say! I had to forgo my trip to the Pico's in July for obvious reasons, then the weather went pear shaped, took the cover off the old girl for my holiday in September, and the indicator mounting bracket has snapped clean in half (no idea how or when)....the part is now discontinued..... eventally I think I have managed to find the last one in the World (no, really) , but, I'm back at work on Monday.... (well working from home) To be honest, I'm not too miffed, as I usually ride on my todd, and it just doesn't feel much fun at the minute with all this going on. At least it's given me chance to edit all my videos from last year, and a couple from the year before I wasn't going to bother with! Keep them coming mate, do what you can, with what you have.
@@paullee6663 Keep smiling fella all will be well once again hopefully soon, let me know if you upload any vids will have a look my friend.
Is the Jurassic Park music available free? If so how? Liked the knobbly knee competition. 😂
I actually downloaded from here but do have a copyright claim against me but I dont do these for money so does not matter to me.
Them shorts need a volume control :D
Ha ha my thoughts exactly lol
great comradship you guys have, good to see......the cooking scene with Muzz piercing the micro dinner, LOL.............are thise shorts available on Amazon?
🤣 Malcolm I have to admit to being lucky at having such a great crew assembled it's true. We all get on and bounce off each other perfectly lol. The shorts are available yes ha ha ha but you will have to become a numpty to wear them " they're NOT cool" lol
@@Steve-Clark xcellent LOL
Cool video dude, there’s a motovlog challenge going around at the moment I have been challenged on... I’ve done it and also challenged people myself your one of the people I’ve chose, hope you get the time to do it, the video is on my channel and the challenge is ‘how the pandemic affected my riding’ !! Take it easy
Thanks mate pleased you enjoyed it, don't know about the challenge it's not my kind of thing but gonna have a look st your vids fella.
Steve Clark no probs dude!! Take it steady
