  • This is Day 5 of our trip and another off bike day where we explore Combe Martin more in depth as in at a level, from above and underground.
    After the exploration we have a nice liquid lunch before enjoying the cooking expertise and delights of Muzzy using a microwave, not to be missed :-)

    I can remember exploring all those rock pools near the path as a child. loved our holidays in Combe Martin. The Devon Tourist board should be paying you. Cheers and best wishes.

    So glad you decided to put this together Steve, so far, if you hadn't said anything, I doubt most of us would have been any the wiser! Awesome drone work, it would really freak me out if my (expensive) drone was over the water that far out! Seeing Muzzy with his microwave ready meal after a few pints bought back memories, as it does for most of us I guess. A word of warning they get piping hot, and it's best not to tip it all over you when you remove it from the microwave. Best not to ask how I know. I always like to have a day or two off the bike if I can during a trip, I usually try to work it around the weather if it looks iffy. Stay safe mate.

    • @Steve-Clark
      @Steve-Clark  Před 4 lety

      Ouch with your microwave story Paul :-) we do exactly same for off bike days weather decides it. And funny NOW story when I flew the drone for this footage someone else had a drone same as mine flying around and I thought I had lost control watching it and it was not responding to my controller as trying to bring what I thought was my drone back home it was flying out to sea, I did freak out as thought I had lost a grands worth of drone. Then I heard mine flying above my head RELIEVED does not even get close Ha ha. thanks for the great comment mate.

    • @paullee6663
      @paullee6663 Před 4 lety +1

      @@Steve-Clark Aye, I can only imagine your stress with the drone! The microwave incident was made worse when the other half came home and thought I'd peuked !! :-) I'd had 3 longish riding days (for me) in mostly rain, and I had decided to have a day looking around Santiago de Compostella..... I'd basically 'passed out' the night before and hadn't had chance to check the weather. At breakfast the next morning it was sunny and I checked the weather....and decided to do a 'loop' to Fisterra (most Westerly part of Spain) Just when you think, I need a 'day off' you find you have one of your best days on the bike still left in you.......
