  • On our way to Vietnam from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺, we spent 12 hours at THE BEST Airport in the World Changi, Singapore 🇸🇬
Let us show you how to visit Singapore airport waterfall at Changi. If you are visiting Singapore Airport for the first time then this is must watch video for you.
Welcome to Jewel Changi Airport, the multi-dimensional tourist destination that brings the world to you. Jewel invites the outdoors indoors, hosting a unique mix of natural wonders and world-class facilities imagined to surprise and delight.
We recommend that you have at least 5 hours in between your flights. Make sure you have valid travel documents, permits and visas if applicable. All visitors must pass immigration to exit the transit area before visiting Jewel. Jewel is conveniently connected to all four terminals (allow sufficient time for travelling between terminals). If you have limited time and don’t want to exit the transit area, you can see Jewel from the skytrain that runs between T2 and T3.
We visited THE JEWEL 💎 which is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex surrounded by and linked to the passenger terminals of Changi Airport, Singapore. Its centrepiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, that is surrounded by terraced forest setting.
Jewel takes ‘plenty to see and do’ to a whole new level - ten to be exact.
Rising five storeys above ground and five below, Jewel is home to a myriad of breathtaking attractions, over 280 retail and dining outlets and more than a few ‘world-firsts’. Take a look for yourself.
A spectacular architectural achievement, this will undeniably be Jewel’s leading showstopper. See the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at a height of 40-metres. When night falls, be sure to catch its mesmerising Light and Sound show.
Explore four storeys of lush greenery between shopping and dining stops, or make it a discovery date with nature. See one of the largest indoor collections of plants in Singapore, housing over 2,000 trees and more than 100,000 shrubs, with plant species from around the world.
It opened in October 2019 with an estimated cost of $1.5 Billion.
We also visited other attractions at the Jewel including Canopy Park, Hedge Maze, Mirror Maze, Walking Net and Canopy Bridge.
Find your way out of Singapore’s largest hedge maze, with a watchtower located within for added fun and interaction with your friends navigating through the maze.
Spiral down in enclosed tube slides or descend over open inclines. Four slides of varied heights offer different thrill factors and open up to distinct views at the end of each slide.
It is all fun and thrills with every step on the Walking Net, suspended over a void, 25 metres above ground. You can also bounce your way along a 250-metre-long Bouncing Net for an exhilarating time and a good workout.
Suspended 23-metres above ground with a glass bottom at the centre portion for a gripping vantage point, the Canopy Bridge is sure to thrill and impress.
Venture into an illusion-filled world with mirrors above and below you! Set with a foliage canopy above, this immersive experience is definitely one for the traveller who loves a challenge!
After visiting THE JEWEL, we headed back to the airport to enjoyed the Food Street and some Shopping. At the airport we also explored the Butterfly Garden, Movie Theatre and Dreamscape.
Timeless play attractions, some that are first of their kind, await both the young and the young-at-heart. Indulge in an experiential wonderland lined with fresh retail concepts by international and local labels. Explore menus exclusive to Jewel in sun-lit outdoor garden ambience, in cool comfort all year round. Relax and recharge the right way before your next adventure.
We visited THE JEWEL at night on our way back from Vietnam 🇻🇳 and it was an incredible experience.
