Curtis and Francis welcomed each other to the UFC. I liked Curtis. Curtis went two full rounds with the Predator, but the doctor stopped it between rounds because Curtis' eye was swolled shut. Curtis was pissed at the stoppage and wanted to continue. Made me an instant fan and I've seen every one of his fights live since.

No other sport can afford to carry a 300-strong roster. UFC pays the best. Bellator/PFL mode is to overpay ex-UfC stars in the hopes of bringing an existing fan base. None of them payed 17k+17k as min to fighters you never heard of in the hopes of turning them into stars one day. Bellator paid what? 5+5 ? And they still went bankrupt.

Aspinall naturally takes on all comers because throughout his career he’s constantly been short on opponents, often having nobody to fight at all, which hit him hard financially when he was trying to provide for his kids
