Even with a misplaced hurdle. So that throws off the stride pattern for 2 hurdles. And she then had trouble on another hurdle as well. And she STILL ran 51.61. What is anyone going to do about her?!! She will be running under 51.00 when she runs a clean race at a big event where she is actually peaking. Ridiculous. She will ultimately go down as one of the greatest track and field athletes in history when she is done.

Nice to hear Asafa Powell in the commentary box. The "Sub-10 King" has started the next chapter in his career. Respect bossy. Sydney is not even wearing spikes. The WR is gone this year again!
Great run by Sydney and in agreement with you on Asafa entering the commentary arena. He sounded good and with a bit of coaching and preparation he should do really well.

Was this reported somewhere? It does seem that hurdle 5 is in the wrong place. It's marker is at 185m from start and 215m from finish, but the coloured part, where the hurdle seems to be placed, is 190m from start and 210m from finish, i.e. 5m too far ahead of where it should be. The 6th hurdle seems to be in a correct place.
That's a dumb rule. That gives too much power to officials for trolling or sabotage. Are coaches/athletes allowed to measure before the race? They should be.
With the exception of Ms. Richardson (is clear that she's growing and getting much better though), team USA seems to be the most humble. Looking forward to seeing more races from ms. Richardson, she's very talented
