  • Hope you enjoy the new style of video! I did not save every website I looked at studying this video, but I'm sure someone will respond in the comments if you are desperate for one. All of them are available if you search up benefits of language learning. Here is one I read however...

Can you make a video on Turkic languages and how they are different from other languages families?

Sure thing. I am planning on doing individual language branches (romance, semitic etc) and small "minor" families (Turkic, Japonic etc) soon, so it can be top priority.

    1. English (Native)
    2. Japanese (I already speak it)
    3. Spanish
    4. French
    5. Russian
P.S. about Russian, I've had my family and some friends try to convince me to not learn it, or tell me I should learn Ukranian instead becuase of the current politics. But politics aside facts don't care about your feelings, Russian is undoubtedly the most usefull and versatile language when compared to Ukranain, you see nearly all Ukranians speak fluent Russian, and the ones that don't can at least understand it to a fairly decent level. Meanwhile Russians have a very hard time understanding Ukranian. Not only that Russian is an official language in 7 countries, and spoken by >258 million people compared to ~45 million Ukranian speakers. It's essentially the Lingua Franca of Eastern Europe, not to mention the fact that over the past couple years 6.5 million Ukranians, as well as nearly 1 million Russians have been registered as immigrants around the world further spreading it's utility. Not saying you shouldn't learn Ukrainian, there are plenty of reasons why sommeone might want to, but for pure utility Russian is far superior. And if learning a language is bad becuase someone that speaks/spoke the language was a terrible person then we shouldn't learn, English, German, French, Japanese, Arabic... the list goes on, nearly every language has at least one bad person that speaks it. I think it's just the mindset of the ignorant.
P.P.S. Great video btw and if you read my whole rant, here's a potato, take this as a token of my thanks. 🥔

Haha, I'll take it if it's potato bake, not a fan of boiled potatoes unless there's hot sauce :)
Definitely agree to the full stop man, utility over politics all the way. Every language has animals that speak it, and every language has great minds (plenty of Russian philosophers, authors etc).
