This was a fun EDD! I was content with this run, but there's still room for improvement. I think I could achieve between 11;00-11;30 on this dive if everything goes well. - Hry

wow. Makes me think there should be a leaderboard system implemented similar to how Spelunky does it.
I would love a leaderboard! I’m sure there are some crazy fast times
@@benicopterUnfortunately there won't be. They wanted to implement one, and added a dance time metric to the game to see if people would cheat when it didn't matter at all. They did, so they figured the leaderboard for Deep Dives would be useless. Heard it from a dev stream sometime last year.

I did a commentary over my last dive, and I did think about doing it for this one. I’ll do another commentary in the future for sure - I had fun doing the last one

Loved the early nitra, and understanding that more. That pause to simply trigger all the exploders was amazing.
I am always amazed by how you stay oriented in a dark cave. Even traversing it several times...
You kept the twins so even during the fight, and I loved the duck under the fan of fire. Lovely. It's always funny hearing the sound of the boots case on the run back at the end of the first stage
I'm impressed by how tight your timing is on tanking exactly what it took to build the first salvaged mule, getting the heals with the resupply, going for all the legs of the second... and I'm realizing that cryos don't buy you nearly as much time as pheromones... Immunity frames for the last few hits you needed. Wow. And that whole egg getting sequence was amazing. So glad there were no stingtails.
Spoke too soon, as they do show up in stage 3. I wonder if attacking the hive guard from above keeps you clear of the pinecones... and love the stage skip with the resupply IN the cave with the next dreadnaught egg in it. And that's why cryos for the whole of the run. Goodness, so fast on the combination of the OG Dread and the last of the Hiveguard.
And the eggs are so fast, glad you could get under the last escape pod. Wow. So glad to see you doing this again.

Stage 2 was the most difficult for me to figure out, and just in general. Whenever eggs are combined with mules the swarm gets massive very quickly. Pheromones make it easier but the cryo is necessary for the dreadnoughts, so I thought it was worth going without the pheromones. Also very thankful there were no Stingtails on stage 2. Would’ve made my strategy completely impossible
Stage 3 was actually really simple. The only thing I had to worry about was not dying while the Hiveguard had its weak point exposed - as this would trigger it to close up early and call for the sentinels (ruining the skip and ultimately the whole run). This is why I quickly grapple to the ceiling during the fight, and then I move far away - didn’t want to risk it!
I was also glad that the hivegaurd popped the cocoon of the classic. I knew that I could maneuver them to be on top of one-another and cryo them both - utilizing blowthrough rounds on my jumbo shells.

I wish i could do Deep Dives, unfortunately my laptop is so unstable it crashes half the time barely 5 minutes into the first stage

is the clip you got on stage one more consistent for you? I've been having trouble clipping from the side recently
Yeah it was pretty consistent for me during my attempts at this dive. Didn’t really have any issues with it
When you fought the duo dreadnoughts, why did your shotgun barely aim at them, while you definitely tried to aim at them using the m1?
The boomstick shoots pellets that have spread, so you don’t have to aim precisely to get a good hit. The m1000 you have to aim for the weakpoints
