    My most complimented layering is DEFINITELY:
    Poets of Berlin by Vilhelm + Lamar by Kajal
    Endless compliments, never had anything like it.
    The fruity juicy sweet and tart opening but not juvenile at all, not body spray like due to the cardamon and coriander, it isnt a fruit salad but just a mouthwatering concoction, this is all sitting on sweet warm resinous vanillic creamy woods, but with the light musk and the oakmoss and vetiver for some green and earthiness and bitterness and aromatic dry notes. But the roses and the white florals esp *slightly* indolic jasmine sambac just s*x it up and its robust and intoxicating, sensual.

      Thank you for watching my dear 🌹❤🤗 Let me know your thoughts on Moattar Dhahab I hope you'll enjoy them, such versatile fragrances to have in your collection. Yes, I think they might make an amazing combo, if you want to tone down the sweetness apply Born in Roma as a base and then apply Majd al Sultan as a topper and I think it will add a beautiful dark smoky touch. Or in case you want to keep the lightness then perhaps layer it with a citrusy forward scent so it would cut through the sweetness, something around orange/mandarin orange I think would complement the scent beautifuly 💫

And I’m going to try the combo with the Donna born in Roma. Also I got the Satine and I love that one too! We have the same taste in fragrances. That’s why I told you I will do blind buys from your recommendations because I have loved everything you told me to try. Have a wonderful day! 🌹♥️

    @AFragrantGlance Do you have a good tip if Sultan Noir is way too strong on your skin? On me it's a spice bomb combined with strong skanky oud. I get absolutely nothing of the sweetness. Golden Sand won't do the trick. A Vanilla body mist isn't getting through either. If I can't make it work it'll have to go unfortunately 😕.
    PS. Bit surprised you don't like Calvin Klein's golden oldie: Obsession . Most women who like the spicy, ambery Middle Eastern fragrances also enjoy this one. But it certainly needs to work on your skin in the proper way.

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  Před rokem

      Thank you for watching dear ❤️🌹 With Sultan Noir I've noticed surprisingly it's sweetest in high heat, when I wore it in the summer it was the most delicious. I think it depends what kind of sweetness you would like to add. If you have Khamrah in your collection they will layer very well (it will accentuate the spicy cinnamon apple vibe). I also love to layer it with Majd al Sultan for sweetness, but this is more of a warm smoky balsamic type of sweet and I'm not sure that's the sweetness you are looking to add. I love to layer it as well with Amber Oud Tobacco Edition when I want to add a rich sweet spicy touch. I would say look into your collection and choose some of your favourite sweet fragrances and try to explore with different layering combos. I honestly smelled Obsession such a long time ago and I don't remember how it smells very much, I should definitely refresh my memory when it comes to that fragrance 🌠

      Thank you for watching ❤ I am very sorry for my late reply.💫 Did you try this combo? What do you think of it? In theory it sounds very promising especially Majd al Sultan layered with Qaa'ed by Lattafa. Perhaps be mindfull of the number of sprays especially if you want to layer all 3 cause if you do too many sprays of all 3 you might get nose blind very fast

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  Před rokem +1

      If I were to layer it with something I think the first ones I would experiment with are Club de Nuit Intense for Women by Armaf (to add a darker more earthy rose touch to the bright rose in Bidun Esam), Oud Aswad by Swiss Arabian (to give it more of an incensy quality as well) and Majd al Sultan by Asdaaf (to make that rich oudy ambery nuances even more rich and nuanced and to add an overall slight myrrh hint). I would spray them in different parts of the body and smell them together in the air cause Bidun Esam is very complex and full on its own already🤗 Let me know if you discover more layering combos dear🌹

      Thank you for watching! 🌹❤️ My first piece of advice would be to go to your collection and have fun with layering and see what you come up with, you might come up with some amazing combos. Some recommendations that come to my mind at the moment - anything with cherry would add a beautiful nuance (think Boozy Cherry by Paris Corner, Khaltaat Night by Attar Collection, Modest Deux for Women by Afnan), if you want something more unique then Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian (would add a beautiful oud like undertone to the DNA). These were some that came to my mind. ✨️

      Take your favourite fragrances from your collection and layer them over Majd al Sultan and see if you come up with any layering combos that work for you, in general it works very well with any kind of sweet vanilla based fragrances, works amazing with warm spicy scent, other rich woody scents, even with some gourmand leaning fragrances when you want to give them some extra spice, it's a very versatile fragrance. Yes, with Lattafa it can be a hit or miss, depends on the scent from what I've seen so far, some of them are indeed softer and more intimate but I still feel like they perform better then the usual drugstore fragrances that you can find within the same price range. However if you would like to explore some houses with better performance I would highly highly advise you to check out Ahmed al Maghribi, the have beautiful blends and the performance for the majority of them is out of this world. With Armaf it depends, hit or miss in terms of performance, I have some that perform very well (like Eternia Woman and Q Essence) then I have some softer ones that are more intimate. I think Armaf has great inspires by scent but some of them have a very strong artificial undertone to them so if you have a sensitive nose or get headaches easily then it's best to test them prior. In regars to Afnan everything I've tried so far from them performs great, from decent all the way to amazing performance and I've found that their blends are very easy to enjoy and don't smell artificial 🌹From Swiss Arabian all the ones that I have so far have amazing performance 🔥
