It is not anything surprising that one or two members of a particular family is extremely in compassion with a particular car and that attracts the hatred of other members. This is a video about a five member family which has a very strong bonding with their 33 year old Ambassador Car. The car was bought just before the marriage of Mr. Sunny Mathew and Mrs. Alice Sunny. So it is obvious that it is older than their eldest son, Subin Sunny. All the three kids; Subin, Sachin and Sneha learned driving on this particular Ambassador Mark 4. Team WheelOcity, decided to cover the video for another interesting fact. The car has a factory fit (OEM) platform gear. Those days, all the Ambassador cars had column shift. It was manufactured for a limited period, paying a margin of Rs. 20,000. However, it was a surprise to understand how passionate were each members to explain about KRB 2858.

Ambassador was one of the First cars to be build entirely in India after Independence,at that time it was considered as a Luxury and now it's considered as the "Rememberence of a period".

As long as you continue using it will be in running condition. Otherwise it will be in museum condition only, as a store piece.

@@WheelOcity_Official it does not necessarily need to be in running condition although it would be nice to keep it in running condition but a good muesium can do that if they have the financial. The problem with continue using the car is normal wear and tear and continued deterioration of the car due to weathering . Also potential of accidental damage. A lot of people can see it and enjoy it in a a good museum for generations to come.

Continuous rusting to the body parts are the main reason for Ambassador Car.
Morris old generation transfer box
(Gear box) not durable ,It is mainly developed for Morris cowly 1950s
by Austin Morris England with 1.5liter oil capacity.It is made by HM since 1995.
But later 1960s Austin change the design with heavy duty gear box with 2.5 liters oil capacity.It is not come to India by HM
Braking efficiency is very poor up to 1990 models without TMC brakes.
After 1990 HM changes the design in brakes with Vaccum assisted front disc brakes with Izuzu engine and gear .It is durable.HM stopped production on 2013 and Utharpura
