Ultimate ices just require you to play very technically unlike previous 2 iterations, smallish windows and precision are key to know when and how

And takes some level of precision.
Never played melee competitively, and I could wobble.
These inputs are a lot tighter to pull off than, Grab into Ftilt.

He actually does have an uptilt footstool infinite. The trick is to use their double down B to freeze the enemy before they hit the ground, so they don't get a chance to tech, then repeat with up tilt.

@Fernando Rosas I think it is a she... not because of Palu's guidance but when you recieve the Piranha plant code in german it says "Die Piranha Pflanze Kämpferin" translated the Pirnha plant fighter specifically female.

I think this is fine, honestly.
With how hard it is to execute, and how little damage it does, the Ice Climbers player needs to be super consistent to pull this off.
Fuck that bullshit. It was the same with Mega Man's pellet infinite and that shit got nerfed.

It's one thing to balance around skill, not everyone agrees but fine. But why would say it's more balanced because it deals little damage? Either you can do it and it takes way too long, or you can't and it doesn't matter whether you did 6% or 3%.

To do this Icies infinite over 30-40 times for the opponent to be in kill percent is not easy, and it doesn't help that Icies already is a bad character anyways, so you'll barely even see this happen, and remember it's only on CERTAIN characters, so it's possible to just pick random and suddenly the infinite doesn't work.
Also, even if this was a viable strategy, the fact that Icies is already enough of a terrible character means there's minimal chance you'll actually see this in tourney, because good players will find counterplay, and anyone willing to do the infinite is already committing to playing the terrible character that Icies is.
He's hitting the lab 24/7 he should be writing his PhD thesis by now honestly
"Low tier" LUL seriously ice climbers has so much untapped potential that i could see them being a high-mid teir character.
From a hardly usable semi-infinite (can break away with double sdi), they'll get out of their microscopic damage and mediocre killpower and lightweightness? Hahaha no.

I'm not sure how hard that actually is to do, but we should remember that the player being combo'd has about 50 tries to get it.
just remember that if you do the slight walk forward version this doesn't work
Combo'd player is gonna get tired after a bit of trying, so it'd end up being even harder over time, I imagine it'd be more effective to just hold shield or jab or whatever and hope they mess up after a number of tries

The infinite could or could not still be here. That patch note wasn't referring to Jab. It was referring to Grab. In otherworda, after a Grab, Nana can't jump and do F-Air spikes near the ledge.
Basically, this infinite could still exist. I say could because there are some changes that were made that aren't mentioned in the patch notes such as Sticky Walking being back. For all we know, they could've made it so Nana can't jump after Jab as well, and not just Grab like it says.

I actually hit this combo online during month two. Unfortunately I didn’t know my files would delete once and update came thru and didn’t play for almost a week. I’d like to add it actually does work on wolf but you have to use up tilt, and he can begin to exit it around 75%

Nice that it works on mostly top, high and mid tiers. In all seriousness ICs are becoming one of the most technical characters in the game still nothing compared to the insanity that is shulk (MALLC, SABDJUS, MABD, and Dial Storage, just to name a few are besides being stupid acronyms are also really werid tech) but still and I'm really looking forward to see how they advance because they're very underrated and its go to see the crazy desync combos that they can pull off
