@@dioxrist I was 23 - not much coverage of it at all here in Australia - I listened to a few games on the radio (all in French of which I dont speak a word , still remember listening to France v Portugal while lying in bed and being enthralled by it)

Vous avez oublié 1986. Mais nous n'avons pas toujours été victorieux face aux Belges. Ce sont des adversaires sérieux qui méritent davantage de respect.

This match must have been on ITV in the UK.
Surprisingly neither channel showed this game live in the UK. The TV companies took a very lukewarm attitude towards the tournament, with very few games being broadcast live probably because all of the home nations had failed to qualify. Not even either of the semi-finals were shown live.
ITV showed most of the highlights of the tournament. There wasn't much interest because of no home nations qualifying. I know why you said that because of Martin Tyler commentating.

I think France have a better midfield, Kante-Pogba is better than Witsel-Chadli-de Bruyne and Mbappe can destroy Belgium defence because they are To slow against Mbappe, so i think 2-1 for France with goals of Mbappe and Griezmann for France and De Bruyne for Belgium.
