Why I Waited 3 Years Between Pregnancies

MamaNatural.com 🔅 While many people congratulated me with the pregnancy news, I did get several "it's about time" comments. And believe me, I got those from my parents and in-laws too. But, Mike and I intentionally wanted 3 years between children, and in this video I'll tell you why.

My 2nd kid will be here by the time my first child turns 3.5 years old. If anyone asked me, "what took you so long?" I'm shutting that down quick. I don't think they ever had 2 kids under 2. No thank you!

We went through four years of infertility so I definitely felt the pressure in early 2018 to get pregnant a second time in case I couldn’t (and I wasn’t getting any younger). I felt less pressure after we’d had our second because I’d seen God’s miraculous hand at work twice (no fertility treatments, just miracles).
So our kids are 27, 26 and then 24 months apart. We now have kids aged 7, 5, almost 3 and almost 1 now. It’s intense and crazy but we’re super intentional about quality one on one time with each child, building bonds between the kids themselves etc. We prayed hard for each of our pregnancies and suffered losses too along the way. But we truly believe God had His hand over our family as it grew and has a plan and purpose for each of these little lives.
And like you said in your video, we’re already in the crazy sleepless nights and diapers and nursing, it made sense for us to just keep ploughing on through.
Is it funny for you now hearing 10 years ago you saying you wanted two kids, now that you have Faith? So glad The Lord had one more little blessing for your family. 🥰

Just curious why your title says pregnancies 3 years apart but video you keep saying “kids 3 years apart”. If you wait 3 years to get pregnant your kids will be almost 4 years apart 😊
