I wish Lex Taloinis would add Mines and Mine-like items already, there are a ton of interesting things FE could do with traps, trap zoners, and uncontrollable summons that lock down and patrol the area they are summoned into.

Either it's actually coming from the past (this is the main plot of Wolfenstein series where nazi somehow discovered the ancient alien tech and won the WW2) or this happened after the end of the world and the people are too far away from coal and/or steam power plant to keep their tech alive
It would have been better to send an Armoured Knight equipped with a Shield to block the path, building MG Nests within range of the Knight's foes while getting a Healer to heal the Armoured Knight. But I'm saving the new Shield weapon type, Unicorn healers, and a certain other type of Healer for later videos.
Grado researching Dark Magic and going too far is the crux of the central conflict in FE8. I can't imagine what kind of unholy sorcery Eirika had to dabble in to learn the Forbidden Art of Summon Sentry Gun. Not even the Sacred Stones can save us now
