Guarantee that's a geared hub motor. Very common model in a lot of different brands and from what I see I'd guess it's 1000w. Prob says pby1000w 48v then a bunch of part numbers.
A ton of these are labeled as 250/350W simply to pass laws in some country. My "250w" geared hub motors came in kits that run 22A controllers...almost 1300W peak. And I use them to pull me and a camper.
I wonder how many amps that hub motor could handle...looks like a decently sized geared hub. Bet it can take some high amps. Speed /rpm might wanna be conservative.
@@E-bikeguy My rear hub is real silent, my front makes a bit of noise...I think I might open them up in the off season and see what the difference is. I assume the gears are larger in the larger hub, and maybe more teeth on the larger gears as well which would make it smoother and quiter. Could just be properly assembled with lube that is good and safe for the gears, too...lots seem to be nearly dry from the manufacturer. Others have the wrong grease or not enough. Etc. I wish someone would build some heavy duty geared hubs with steel gears and replaceable ring gears. Or make the housing with the ring gear easily found and cost effective to replace. Steel gears would be loud though, of course. They would sound cool though, not like a cheap hub motor.
I love the large battery.
Nice review absolutely love your videos!

Your youngster seems to be as passionate as you on E-bikes.

Looks like a geared motor. Kinda large for 750w.
Never seen that kind of foam packing before....
Great helper! 🦵💪
First one I’ve seen them use spray foam for packing. That’s different.

Definitely looks like a beefy hub motor but man, it's really quiet for a geared hub
