404 Refrigeration it’s made a world of difference man. Of course the other day I clipped it with the wheel of the scissor lift I was driving and now it’s leaking. Ahahaha
I use coil cleaner to clean stainless and aluminum pots and pans. I used to buy an acid based pink cleaner but I can't find that one anymore and use foam brite
What journeyman wouldn’t tell a helper how to clean coils. Lmao. I can only imagine what his face would be if he walked up and saw you just dumping coil cleaner from the bottle 😂😂😂great content my dude !
One thing you failed to mention about Nu-Brite is that it requires complete flushing or rinsing out of the product in order to prevent the chemical from eating the coil. Nu-Brite works great but I always wear gloves & safety glasses because of the aggressive nature of the chemical & yes it does burn if it hits your skin. PPE highly recommended!
I actually just use water on micro channel. Can’t use the blue stuff. It’ll kill the coil. They do make a cleaner specifically for micro channel though
clay davis you can actually use a quarter size amount of concentrated dawn dish soap. Just a quarter size amount and fill up your pump sprayer with water. It works better than the cleaners out there in my opinion
I was just curious what other people used. I like hot water when it's available from a mop sink. If it's really greasy then I use a light tri clean mix.
yeah man...that nu brite is nasty stuff...wear gloves...i have seen some guys who wear shorts in the summer and the nu brite took the skin right off the legs...be careful with that stuff
I was cleaning coils all day today too. Now it's time for beer and watching hockey. 🍻
I’m doing the same right now. Lol. Let’s go Bruins !!!
Beer n hockey...same same
There’s nothing better bro 👍🍺
That cleaner is no joke! I once had the skin on my hands peel off.
Good video. I'm going to get me one of those flex hoses and try it out. Thanks Chris!

I have the same channel locks. I bought it just for the sake of having it because it’s enormous but it is the savior when I actually do use it
Steve Izzi they are great man. They come in handy all the time hahah
I’ve ruined some soles of some shoes with coil cleaner to. Maybe a week later the sole starts to fall apart.

Robert Arnold great points thank you 👍
I don't use chemicals on commercial units like RTU, but definitely use on residential units.
That's exactly the opposite to do 😂
@@HVACRDUDE guess I've been taught wrong
@@mrgreen2646 most definitely bro. Read the manual..it will even say, "rinsee throughly with water, no chemicals"
What do use for micro channell.

I'll give the dawn a try though.
Microchannel Safe?
RJ_Make the blue condenser cleaner is not micro channel safe . They do make a cleaner that is safe for micro channel though
