I love the komet, I believe it was the first aircraft to go over 1000km/h but I'm not positive of that. Lippisch, the chief designer, was amazing when it came to designing aircraft and I wish the United States didn't take him for themselves, he didn't do as much as he could have with the government restriction

Reminds me of one of the plane in Raiders of the lost ark.

Yeah I am actually a volunteer there too as an aircraft detailer, met the pilot once but he seemed like a really nice guy.
