- Whenever we go for SSB on the first day before the screening, every candidate has to go through the PPDT test, which stands for Picture Perception and Discussion Test. As it is a self-explanatory word, In this, a candidate needs to write a story based on a picture shown to him and later discuss it with other candidates. If you want to be good with your narration and discussion, you need to write a good and reliable story before that. So, this test is significant from the screening point of view. Though there could be many perceptions to a single picture, we will try to put some of ours in the video.
Try to write a practical story and describe the events which could possibly be performed. You can choose the names you are most familiar with so that it could help you while narrating the story. Although if you could not complete your story on paper, you could complete it during the discussion. Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT) is a screening test in the SSB. Based on that, candidates are allotted a time period of 4 minutes to write a story on the picture with details consisting of what had led to the situation, what is happening now and what will be the possible outcome.
As described PPDT is short of picture perception and description test, candidates will be shown a random picture on which candidates have to write a story in a brief amount of time then each candidate has to take part in a group discussion with fellow candidates where they have to discuss their stories with each other and in conclusion, they have to decide whose story was the best or come to a consensus to make a common story. In PPDT a candidate’s narrative capability is put under test along with his communication skill, technically it doesn’t matter in what language he is speaking (English or Hindi) but how better he is speaking. But, it is suggested to stick to English. A candidate has to show the properties of an efficient speaker in a group. During PPDT a bit hazy or blurred picture is shown to the candidates for about 30 seconds. In about next one minute candidates have to write down the details that have noticed in the picture, it will help them in narrating the story (This part is bringing out the perception from the PPDT).

Deepak, age 21 he was pursuing his bsc in agriculture. On holidayb. He visited his village . In village seeing the people also used the traditional agriculture. First team went to take peemission from sarpancb to arrange a meeting in panchayat bhawan. Second team. With him also made banner. Poster and wrote a lots of articles in newspaper. On wrote about the benefit of modern technology. Third team arra ged meeting and told to use hiv seeds, use modern technology like as machines, use natural fertilizers to enhance the production of crop. After this people implement it and the production of crops became increase. Seeing this Deepak became satisfied with his little initiative

In these pictures I have perceived 4 character and ram is the main character of my story he is about 20 - 23 years old he is in the positive mood , Ram was completed his degree in the agricultural and he was very aware of crops and their every required things for better growth of plant , one day when ram visited his nearby village then he give suggestion that how they can make their crop safe from dublicate medicines used in the crops. And even he appreciated all the farmer's and even help me financially for their loss.
