For CPU tests you should also include cpu heavy games like battlefield 2042, cs2, etc

Great and helpful video thx!!! And btw can you do it with the RTX 4060 TI 8GB version? Cus that would be very helpful!!

Well when I looked at your other CPU:comperison with the Radeon 7800XT theres more FPS in certain games, even more than this RTX 4070Ti Super, and also more wins for the Ryzen 7800X3D... strange... Nice job as usual mate, tnx! 😇🤩

sometimes 7600x perferms better its due to better clock ?

Something like that yeah. What you are seeing is that the 7600x performs the physics/ai functions as well or better than the 7800x3d, but it can't process as many frames. So in the harder to run games there is less of a difference because the GPU isn't kicking out as many frames at baseline.

so, 1440p gaming, 7600X will do the same as 7800X3D..? crazyyy

exactly cause no one plays 1080p on these GPUs, only 1440p and 4K so 7600x is definitely more then enough

    • @DatGamerDude
      @DatGamerDude  Před měsícem +2

      yess 7600x is enough for 1440p 4k
no need to buy 7800x3d for double price

It’s not as simple as 1080p. It boils down to how demanding on the CPU the game is, relative to the GPU.
Generally the higher resolution you go, yes, there’s more going on with the GPU, but it really depends on the game.

It depends on the game. And I know how cliche that sounds, but it’s true.
Spider Man had a decent difference in fps, as did others. Also, there are several games in this mix that showed the 7800X3D providing way better 1% lows, which indicates smoother gameplay. There are justifications to choosing the more expensive chip.
I say this as a man who owns a 7600X and pairs it with a 7900XT for 3440x1440 180hz. I will not buy a 7800X3D but recognize it has its attractions in certain applications, even at the higher resolutions.
It, again, depends on the game. But that’s why videos like this are important and appreciated. 🍻

look at the utilization and temps, its a 10-15 degree and roughly 20% difference output being the same is a little weird

    • @switchjayfuckities4199

An actual answer is that higher resolutions depend on the power of the GPU rather than the CPU, and the extra L3 Cache on the x3D chip makes it far stronger in gaming than a CPU that doesn't have it (for the most part)

@@masterbuilder0018 lower resolutions are more reliant on your processor than they are your graphics card.
