  • “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” originally ran from 2003 to 2012 and it was a huge hit. Clearly, the show was missed by fans everywhere, as it made a triumphant return eight years later. But what is it that makes the show so appealing? Probably the fact that it appears to have a positive impact on families. But are things as positive behind the cameras as they are on screen? After all, the “reality” in reality shows is often a debatable subject. If you’re wondering whether or not families are experiencing genuine joy when their new homes are unveiled, this is what you don’t see on TV during “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

Ty was convicted of drunk driving. That’s why he was fired. The hypocrisy was palpable, considering how many families impacted by drunk driving were featured by the show.
So…you missed the main reason Ty left and Jesse came in.
    That’s not good reporting.

The beginning of the show is a stretch... knocking on a big families door then seeing all of the come out the door, dressed and hair done... I had a large family and I can tell you, that NEVER happened unless we knew ahead of time that we had to be ready, even then it didn’t always happen... However, I love the idea of the show helping people so overlooking a few small mistakes is well worth seeing the struggling families getting the help they need...

As much as I loved ty pennington on extreme makeover home edition I feel like Jesse tyler ferguson isn't the right choice nor suitable for doing construction 🚧 work they should've gotten the property brothers or Carter ooosterhouse from trading spaces ,because they're born construction 🚧 material just my opinion.
