Even though it’s just a model it is still downright horrifying to see the damage and to know the pain that jill experienced even if it was quick Edit: I just found out it wasn’t an instant death so that makes it all the more horrifying
This is conceptual, in reality it would definitely similar but more messy with ripped tendons bleeding. If you didn’t instantly die from brain damage you would bleed out profusely in minutes or choke on your own blood
I definitely think the lower jaw would be much more deformed as it’s easy to dislocate the mandible which would make the wounds appear bigger and the area more of a gaping bloody mess
this trap was actually real! obviously not functional or hooked up during filming for actor safety, but when hooked to an air pressure machine it does work as shown
the other fact than the mouth ripped, your jaw will also lock and it will hurt extremely bad because its not supposed to move like that, also colliding with your skull.

Worse. It would not only kill you, but the few minutes you'd probably still be alive would be such agony, you'd be praying to die! The upper jaw would be slammed into your skull with such force, bone fragments would cut into your brain and could very well cut at least a few blood vessels, meaning you'd die from a brain hemorrhage. The bottom jaw, meanwhile, would slam into your throat and choke you. Of course, ligaments and tendons in your jaw would also tear and you could die from choking on your blood, too.
