The only issue I found is: yes, there is no mention of someone having an iPhone 7. However, when I came to the end of solving this, there was one person left with no phone, so you do have to make that one assumption. "One of the residents does have an iPhone 7." It took a couple of hours for me to do it, but I'm 100% confident I did it correctly. How can this be an called the Einstein riddle? Einstein died before iphones or game consoles, so he certainly didn't come up with this. There are thousands of this exact type of puzzle knocking about (I had a rather thick book full of them over 30 years ago). Once you've solved one, they're all the same. By drawing a grid and crossing out any box that contradicts a statement, these problems are not that hard - indeed, boring after a while.

How can this be an called the Einstein riddle? Einstein died before iphones or game consoles, so he certainly didn't come up with this. There are thousands of this exact type of puzzle knocking about (I had a rather thick book full of them over 30 years ago). Once you've solved one, they're all the same. By drawing a grid and crossing out any box that contradicts a statement, these problems are not that hard - indeed, boring after a while.
