1st Time - More Conservative Mark Down Sales
31-60 Days Less Than $199.99 = 15%
Greater Than $200 = 10%
61-100 Days Less Than $199.99 = 20%
Greater Than $200 = 15%
181 + Days Less Than $199.99 = 30%
Greater Than $200 = 20%
2024 Updated Aggressive Mark Down Sales
31-60 Days Less Than $199.99 = 15%
Greater Than $200 = 10%
61-100 Days Less Than $199.99 = 25%
Greater Than $200 = 15%
101-180 Days Less Than $199.99 = 30%
Greater Than $200 = 25%
181+ Days Less Than $199.99 = 35%

I may not be the best source for that 😜 you don't see behind the camera 😂 I do an inventory banker box style but it's flawed. I'm so busy running the business that I don't always slow down when I need to. So items end up piling up on the floor till I get it into boxes or shelves 🤦 hense the flawed system. Once I get my stuff together I'll film another room tour. I've done one about 3-6 months ago? But I'll do a new one 😎
Thank you for sharing the mark down information. I just started a store and wasn't quite sure how to do this when the time comes. Now, I got to figure out coupons 😊. Looks like you can send to individual previous buyers directly from the sold listing so I may start there.
Such a great Idea! Do you allow offers on your sale items?
I do but I usually counter with a note saying it's already on a deep discount when they try to low-ball me.

Not as often because than this markdown sale wouldn't work. It would think a new listing is a new item.

Hello Jennifer! Wonderful video!! I have a question. I delisted and sold similar. Didn't work. I know the dates i originally listed. Personally, would you go by the first date listed on time listed?
Bibles are totally overlooked. Just hit a very packed estate sale and loaded up on bibles. (Minus the ones I may keep.).

I have been listing daily and my eBay store is completely dead.
If you're selling items that sell just stay consistent and list daily. Doing a sale or marking down items may help move old inventory and revive your sale. Good luck
HI Jenifer thank you. Good information. If you are running a store promotion like 5% and you are also running a markdown sale, does Ebay allow this, or is it possible someone can make a purchase with both discounts being added?
Just got back from the lobby picking up my one single filter that I ordered from Amazon for $50 for my water in my GE fridge. In the exact moment I see you hold up two of the exact same filters that you sold for $35 for 2 !! They are the exact ones ! you certainly don’t have to be good at math to know that two for 35 is better than one for 50!

What if you end and sell similar each month? I suppose you wouldn't be able to select the your oldest items to discount unless you picked them out individually, correct?
Yes that is correct. I did that towards the end of last year and it did mess up when I was trying to do this.
DID YOU report the buyers returning the used one instead of the new one?
The filters? They didn't return then used. I purchased 4 and realized 2 were duds. Only sold 2 and the returned 2 still sealed. He could see the chip was not in them without opening.
