As a follow up I wanted to let you know that I finally installed the Speed Bleeders and wow do they work a treat! 👍👍

It's super nice! Considering how often I have to bleed my rear brake on the R1200GS, it's a really nice doo-hickey and super cheap.

Did you add thread lock or do they come with tread lock already applied to them?

I can't remember. If the instructions require it, I definitely did but I don't think I would have unless it required it due to how sensitive brake fluid is and how I don't want to introduce any other chemicals.

The extra thread sealant will come in handy after bleeding your brakes a few times. As the sealant wears, it has the potential to let air into the system.

Thanks. I did set it aside in the bag with the OEM valves

I track my cars frequently and use a pressure bleeder which makes things easy and hence, no reason to ever try Speed Bleeders. But I think I may just give them a try for the GS. I hope they work as well as advertised!

First bleed before Spring went really well. Not really ‘essential’ but it did make things easier. They’re cheap enough that it’s a nice to have.

Good deal. I’m going to get some Dot 4 and order the bleeders.

Hi Adam, it's a good idea to change.
    Do they fail over time?
    Where do you buy them?
Are different measurements on the front wheel?
    Un saludo desde madrid

I do not know about shipping to Spain so you may have to send a mail and request more info - www.speedbleeder.com/index.htm They are three different kinds. H9422 + H9417 + H9497 (these are the part numbers)
