From Mk1 to MK1 Full circle. This gave me Goosebumps. From a Kid in the Arcade to a Grown man, I still love this. The original MK beats with a slow tempo Were just Sick.
The arcade stage on MK11 brings it all back! It cycles through each of the best and nostalgic levels from the original.. My favourite fight stage on the game

I was hoping for the full original song, But this was still beautiful enough to actually bring a tear to my eyes. I know people often say “i am legit crying rn”, But I actually had a tear because of how much nostalgia this brought back. I only ever saw the original 90’s trailer like… once maybe twice and it was long after it’s due, But I still love it, and the movie track will never not be the official theme for me.

30 years ago on Sep 13th was Mortal Monday; the day Mortal Kombat came out on Sega Genesis and other old consoles. I remember the marketing campaign and got a bad ass shirt with the dragon insignia. On Sep 14th this year, they are releasing the new Mortal Kombat 1. Wow time goes by quickly! Gonna get this one for sure the day it's released.

This is a really good trailer. It's reliant to some extent on nostalgia, but I think it manages to communicate the idea regardless of your familiarity with the franchise. That's an interesting take, I'd consider the whole kameo system, and their approach to an assist fighter is actually pretty innovative mechanically, considering how little fighting games actually have this sort of thing. Not to mention the story is a completely new take on several old things. If anything, MK11 was nostalgia bait. I think MK1 is actually a really solid step forward, but maybe that's just me

@Darksid3c3 idk bout you man, but this seems like one of the best ones to come out. The Graphics are stunning and the combat actually looks extremely fun based on the beta. If you are gonna be one of those people that complain about story, keep in mind that MK is just a cluster fuck of fun and shouldn't be treated as some peak literary analysis

I was hoping for the full original song, But this was still beautiful enough to actually bring a tear to my eyes. I know people often say “i am legit crying rn”, But I actually had a tear because of how much nostalgia this brought back.
I only ever saw the original 90’s trailer like… once maybe twice and it was long after it’s due, But I still love it, and the movie track will never not be the official theme for me.

30 years ago on Sep 13th was Mortal Monday; the day Mortal Kombat came out on Sega Genesis and other old consoles. I remember the marketing campaign and got a bad ass shirt with the dragon insignia. On Sep 14th this year, they are releasing the new Mortal Kombat 1. Wow time goes by quickly! Gonna get this one for sure the day it's released.

This is a really good trailer. It's reliant to some extent on nostalgia, but I think it manages to communicate the idea regardless of your familiarity with the franchise. The only problem is, I now want Dave Bautista in a Mortal Kombat film, and I'm struggling to figure out who he's play. Maybe Shao Kahn? Maybe Gorro?

That's an interesting take, I'd consider the whole kameo system, and their approach to an assist fighter is actually pretty innovative mechanically, considering how little fighting games actually have this sort of thing. Not to mention the story is a completely new take on several old things. If anything, MK11 was nostalgia bait. I think MK1 is actually a really solid step forward, but maybe that's just me
