HOW TO re- sync 2015- FORD FOCUS remote key re-sync

How to re-sync the remote function of your Ford focus key fob, if battery in car or key hoes flat and stops working. This will also work on newly programmed keys like mine in the video. This will work on most newer fords. Slightly different to older ford as its 8 turns instead of 4. Making sure the 8th turn finishes in the ignition off position. Vehiclelocksmiths.com

What I missed was that you have to press both keys! It's in the video, but easy to miss. After the beep, press the old key and then the new key.

Might be a dumb question but if I bought a key from a different car (same make and model) but put my blade in the fob could I program it to my car?

Yes you can with a ford key. The remote will be done the same as in the video, but the chip to start the car has to be done diagnostically
