Kim, dont mean to be rude, but alot of people dont look as good as you do with out makeup. Im 66, and never leave the house without my mascara, and eyeliner. It just makes me feel more confident.😊

She is beautiful, with & without makeup. I am older than you & not beautiful at all without makeup, but I feel the same way she does - I usually have better things to do. So I go out all the time without makeup. The general public will just have to cope. 😂

Quite the opposite. I’m over 50 and feel I need more makeup, it’s all smoke and mirrors. Genes play a huge part, many people think that I’m in my late thirties.
I agree, I only wore make-up out to special occasions, now I wear it to go shopping, the movies, just to lunch with girlfriends, I never bothered before, but I feel I need colour back in my face, plus I actually have TIME, no kids, no job to rush to, not even elderly parents to care for anymore...

I never understood not wearing makeup when you get older, just when you need it the most.
I always use concelar and blush, at least, even if i don't go out of the house.
And i look much younger than my real age, but i always use makeup.
So people that look their age, and they are over a certain age, theý should wear makeup.

Lol. I didn't wear makeup until I hit 50. Only reason for it was my husband didn't like me to wear makeup. So when we split up it was 1 of the 1st things I did. We got back together a few years later and we got along so much better. We both forgave each other. He passed away in May and I haven't worn makeup since then. We were together 34yrs. Still too heartbroken.

I agree, most women I know and see wear makeup. It’s just a lot simpler than the 20 - 30 steps we used to put on. Tinted moisturizer or CC cream, concealer, blush, “one and done” eyeshadow, mascara and a few brow hairs filled in, lip stain/gloss.
On the contrary, I think mature skin NEEDS a bit of makeup and definitely more color on the cheeks. Mature skin can look gray and washed out and many women now are embracing their silver hair. Silver hair, thinned eyebrows and sparse eyelashes, you better put something on or people will think you’re on the way out!
Wondering where I can buy the stick you used to hydrate yr undereyes, labial lines and lips. Maybe an equivalent one I live in Italy, many many tks Looks very usefull ❤

I feel they try you to get evry single product Before the make up, when I just use moisturizer and believe it or not , people tell me I look great, and it works for me 🙌. ThankYou
I’m 71 and look and feel better with makeup and always wear it and it takes less than 2 minutes - too washed out without makeup and looked much younger with my makeup.

Hi Cynthia. You have my sincere empathy, I understand this. I keep a black eye pencil out. On days where I'm just not my best and even cant get out and about, I push myself to quickly run it along the top of my eye. It's nothing, but it's a something and for me its giving depression the finger, if you will. Wishing you all the best, health and peace. I've been trying to tell my general practitioner for 4 ys I have low thyroid symptoms, depression is just one of many
He keeps ignoring my symptoms & now recently ordered ultrasound on neck area. Radiology report indicates borderline auto immune,. which low thyroid can turn into when unaddressed. Not knowing other symptoms you may have! I made an appt to see a highly rated endocrinologist. I'll say a prayer for you. Hope you get to feeling better. Blessings! 💜
To be very honest, you are quite pretty and look better without makeup. I think you look much better without it because of your blue eyes and clear skin and symmetrical features.

Make up is a "god-send." And, it doesn't have to be a "full" face of makeup....moisturizer, BB cream, blush and definitely an eye brow pencil goes a long way. Touching up the eye brows can immediately take 10 years off. I admire make up specialists and one does not even have to spend a fortune, drug store brands are fine. When someone says to me that "they don't wear any makeup" it is not an admirable trait to me, but I don't tell them so.
You can sell more makeup if people can see the makeup and not watch you move your
hair. Please pull it back before you start your face.

I wear minimal make up. More like a fresh look type of make up with sunscreen tinted moisturizer. I find that it makes me look more natural and feminine.
I’ve been a makeup lover and wearer my entire life but I am 65 now, and I stopped wearing it about a year and a half ago. I stopped wearing it for all the reasons you mentioned, plus two more: my eyesight has made it difficult see what I’m doing, and I don’t have have the patience that I use to have, largely because it takes me a really long time to put it on- much longer than it ever did before.
I use a magnifying mirror x 10. Never look at the entire face only the area you are putting makeup on.
I use a magnifying mirror. It works and especially as you apply eye brow pencil and eye brow gel. A good makup brush too and again, using a magnifying mirror which I is attached to the wall for convenience. And, as someone else says, zero in on that area of the face looking at that mirror.
My eyesight is terrible too. Its extremely difficult to see what you're doing. It stinks.
Have you tried a magnified lighted makeup mirror? That helped me a lot, also there are one lens reading glasses you can get and the one lens will rotate from one eye to the other, this helps too. I hope this info will help you 🥰. I’m the opposite, I haven’t worn makeup much for years and now I’m getting back into it… I forgot how much I LOVE makeup and how much it makes me happy❣️❣️❣️
I definitely look like I'm ill without any makeup. So much past sun damage/hyperpigmentation/acne scaring.
Makeup used to be an absolute MUST if I was leaving the house for any reason! ( even to go get the mail! )
Now , at age 55 , I have lightened it up quite a bit!
Most days , it's primer with setting powder , a little blush , eyeliner on my top lids only , and a pretty lipstick shade! 💄
I actually enjoy applying my makeup now because it's no longer a long , drawn out chore! It's fun being a woman and I'll always use makeup! 😊

Hi Kim...I'm so glad I found you. I used to wear makeup all the time. I'm over 60 now and developed dry eyes, roseaca, and my skin changes. It's hard to find a foundation at times. I take good care of my skin. I use to be a Mary Kay consultant. Back then we didn't use contour, and highlights. I get overwhelmed with all the products. It's not easy to find makeup for sensitive eyes.So I don't do eye makeup. Thank you for your tips. You are beautiful! I am interested in BALM, white eyeliner, Color corrector, eye primer, K-skin. I am coming to the conclusion that I am not a make up person period. I am 54 and through my life I used minimum make up and now even less. Every time I try to look up videos that called "simple make up" I still find them too complicated for me. Last few years I found a tinted sunscreen that I really like, along with some lip color and mascara I am ready.

I just found you this afternoon and I applaud your encouragement that allows over 50, to try and use cosmetics, light handed. My skin would have been great, if I did not deal with some broken capillaries. I have numerous times had IPL on the capillaries only. But, for me, they break and therefore stay to some extent. I must use a foundation base in those areas. I have been playing around with some Korean skincare and will continue that exploration. Honestly, I think it is most likely the best. I follow a cosmetic surgeon on YT and while he does sell his own products, he touts various Korean skincare, as they are way ahead of most manufacturers.. I enjoyed your video , thank you

I haven't worn makeup for 35 years. Im 54. After covid i lost all my eyebrows and lashes and dont feel the need to cover up. I still dont wear makeup, and no one seems to care. My personality and how i treat people are what catches people's attention, not my looks. I save time, money, and the facade of what i truly look like. With me, what you see is what you get!

My current skincare is cleansing with Cerave SA wash. Then I use "Marigold Wonder Mixture." (1 oz castor oil, 1 oz rosehip oil, 1 oz black seed oil, 20 drops Frankincense. Mix oils well and use as needed. All oils organic, cold pressed, etc.)
If I'm going outside, I use a beef tallow/zinc based sunscreen - no chemicals. I've been doing this about 4 months now, and my skin is unreasonable. It's amazing!

It all depends on your skin. There’s really light tints that I’ve seen that are good. I always watch Lisa Eldridge and she makes a tint thats very moisturising like, plus she says to only put it wear you need it. To me light, no makeup make up is prettier. Watch Lisa Eldridge, she’s the best. Good luck.

I'm 76 and stop wearing makeup because no matter what brand or expensive to not expensive, it still appears in my wrinkles, and I'm not overly wrinkled, fine line aren't dip. Any suggestions? It's hard to cover up age spots, including using concealer.
Try using FIERA concealer. It's formulated for mature skin and doesn't settle into fine lines and stays moist on the skin.

I'm 60, I feel more confident with a bit of makeup on. But I try not to over do it. Only wear the shades that do something for you. Don't wear black eye liner. If you wear eyeliner don't over do it. Be careful of lipsticks that are to bold.

I have used cream makeup for years and love the versatility. Looks fabulous.
It’s like painting with oils as you highlight and shade accordingly. An artist would not paint a face all one colour 😃.
I'm not crazy about the way this is blended. Very noticeable contour on forehead and the eye corrector/ highlight is also blended poorly. Please tie your hair back before your demonstration. It's distracting when moving your hair all the time. Other than that, great! 😊
I’m 52 and I still wear matte makeup. But my skin is very oily and very young. But I actually look much younger without makeup but I wear makeup because I enjoy it.

When I go to the store/out, I'll put on a pore minimizer, powder over that and fill in my brows, and some lip gloss.
But even when I was young I used makeup very sparingly, not like these young women today. Never used a bronzer, contour, primer, or whatever they use now. Just foundation, powder (sometimes just powder), blush, mascara, lip gloss. In my avi, I put on a lot of makeup because I was styling my mom's antique hat with veil, but I never wear makeup like that!

I think a lot of women don't wear makeup anymore is that they feel what's the point you're no longer in the market. But at the same time they feel they need a little help when they go out for their self confidence.
Well, once I decided to let my hair just go gray was the same time that I decided to make it a lot simpler to just not wear make up. The only thing that I do do is I tint my eyebrows because I don’t want to look completely washed out with my light skin and my gray hair no make up and it really looks nice because my hair isn’t completely all gray only in the front and it’s dark underneath in the back. I think it looks really nice and I love just waking up in the morning and washing my hair in my face and just letting my hair hair dry and it happens to be curly hair so it’s very easy, I don’t have to waste my time putting make up on I’m 69 years old

I prefer the way she looked without makeup. My rule is that if i cant eat it, it doesnt go on my skin. I make one concession for lip color becsuse haven't found anything edible with enough tint for my lips. Its the only makeup i wear suce i was 20, and im now 60. I have no regrets not putting chemicals on my skin.

Aging I became allergic to eye shadows. I only wear eyeliner mascara and/or lipstick. And I’m fine with it. My skin is full of flaws but I let it breath.

Just like Bobbi Brown balm makeup. Too many people commented that it was difficult to use bc balms do not provide enough color - you have to use too much to try and obtain the color. Go and read the posts

Mid 60s, still pop my "face" on before going anywhere.. Moisture, BB cream, cream blush on apples sparingly, bit of eyeliner, eyebrows (important) mascara and lip gloss then blot a bit with tissue.. Press a baby wipe over your face gently , don't wipe.. Done. You will have it down in less than five mins! We can all always learn more so thank you very very much from UK!! xx
I have worn Seint yet my face feels greasy even though I have dry skin and use a hydrating moisturizer. I am 64 and wear makeup only when going out of the house to shop, and church and meetings.
I noticed that the Highlight and Contour choices don’t describe the color shade, like warm, neutral or cool. This makes it difficult to choose the right shade via computer screen. I would love to try, but I’m tired of choosing the wrong foundation color online. Seems great tho.

Love all the comments in the video regarding "good" makeup products and the advantages of wearing makeup. I love Milani Glow drops to brighten up my face and it is a reasonably priced drug store product. And, I don't have to use a lot of it, then I apply a little tinted moisturizer or sometime go without the tinted moisturizer on top, then add blush. Looks quite natural.

I’m 61! I love makeup, have a lot of it but I’m just useless at applying it! I’m confident to go out without it but I just want to look ‘polished’ which I feel that I don’t currently. I never feel completely satisfied with my appearance - like there’s something missing. ❤❤xx

My eyesight is now so bad that I can't see what I'm doing with eye makeup without my glasses and can't get to my eyes with them on. Magnifying mirrors just give me a larger blurred image. I hate not wearing makeup.
My eyes are a turquoise tone too but few shades darker than yours,i love how having some bronzer,blush and golden tones of foundations etc on our skin accentuates our beautiful turquoise eyes 😊

I am much over 50 and would never think for a minute I look acceptable without makeup. My time is valuable and I get more value from looking like dynamite when I walk out the door than drab and unkept and uncaring. Also, my hair will never be gray because I am a natural blond and skin tone is not good with gray. So more power to natural if you can do it. But please look in the mirror and make the most of your beauty. Love your conviction for yourself.

A lot of women over 50 would do well to wear basic makeup (a tinted daydream, a bit of mascara, lipgloss and a dab of rouge on their cheeks. They often look tired and as if they couldn’t care less how they look in public, along the lines I’ve already got my man, no need to make-up my face any more…

Yes, More make up helps over 60!! There are amazing products out there. Even TATI on you tube with over 8 million followers talks about so many, one recent one was, : Loreal Pro Glow, does NOT settle into lines moves with your face, as does Loreal Lumi Glotion, The New Maybelline Super Stay 24 hr Skin Tit with Vit C is awesome. Elf is killing it with products. Their Halo Glow Liquid foundation and Halo blushes and putty blushes are so great. Elf has a new Stay Cool Primer Stick that is soo nice. We are blessed to live in a time when there are beautiful beautiful products to make us look at good as we feel as we age.
Watch the ladies who are soo big on here that every company out there loads them up with new stuff to try, they will give an honest review, they are NOT trying to promote any company.
Loreal is so big they own Lancome, NYX etc etc etc etc. I just got a Korean moisturizer, its lovely for sure, they promote Soy in it, but LOOK at every skin care product and if the ingredient they promote is NOT in the first 3 ingredients there is not enough in it to do anything, just a drop to let them advertise its in it. The Korean one I have the Soy is in the last two ingredients .. :(
