As a classical musician myself, I find f(x) are one of the most musically interesting bands in K-Pop. I'd love to see if others feel the same way.
I'm a huge prog metal fan, and I always describe 'Red Light' to my non-kpop friends as "just imagine if there was such a thing as prog pop". They may not end up liking the song, but they definitely always see what I mean and respect the originality in it. Prog fans can be *the* biggest music snobs, so getting them to admit anything is a victory.

Sosmcs See they're mainly just talking about the instrumentation, like interesting melody/harmony/chord changes they notice, or the instruments being played in the background lol. And yeah I'm jealous of pianists who can do that, my memory is just too awful to even remember a song after one listen

i normally wont watch reaction videos but you guys make me.. it's really interesting to see classically trained ears react to kpop and I'm amazed that despite the trashiness that has invaded kpop with, there are still some which make me proud to be a fan of and that even professionals can appreciate..
hopefully you guys can take the time to react to FTIsland. because despite them not being that popular as they were before, they still continue to MAKE good music. their own, self-produced, self-composed, self-written songs and albums. they're always worth listening, be it in Korean or in Japanese. (sorry for pushing it, I'm just a proud primadonna!)
