this laser machine seems interesting, have you tried that laser blocking cover if it really blocks the laser?

What testing method do you suggest for the laser blocking capabilities of that cheap plastic cover?

@@hoitg4647 if the laser light pass throught then it might be dangerous. if not then it is safe

A destructive method. If it doesn't pass, it will melt the cover when you bring it directly into the laser beam.
As can be seen in the video, you can see the scattered light through the plastic. It obviously isn't fully absorbed. To measure the absorbed portion, some sort of light intensity measurement had to be done.
