Quick Trip To Tortola, British Virgin Islands

- In this episode of @mblydenvlogs my younger sister and I head over to the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands in order to renew her Local "Belongers Card" and for me to get mines. We also seek out an alternative route to some family land and then spend the rest of the weekend hanging with friends and enjoying the sights and sound of the British Virgin Islands!

Tortola was the 1st place I ever visited International. I haven't been to the BVI since 2005 beautiful island 🇻🇮
I watch your videos they are inspirational, so I went to st thomas usvi and recently just returned to the states. And sadly to report that as a black woman I've never been treated so horribly by my own sisters and brothers. I used all the customs you taught, but as soon as I spoke and it was realized that I was from the states. I was treated with terrible customer service and ugly stares as though I had no business being there. Beautiful sights but with confidence I can say that I'll never return. However on a positive end note I want to give a shot out to Cousins Car Rentals and Ashley restaurant by the airport oh and Jennifer at Mafolies they were the only ones who accepted me. My purpose for this trip was to see where my great great grandparents were from.
I’ll be doing a video on this shortly. It appears that we as a people are generally unkind to our own but when it comes to people of Caucasians descent they’re a lot nicer, especially the taxi drivers.

“Long time ago in Bethlehem” I learned that once a girls fam was from Tola we most likely related. LoL my grandmother was a Henley and I’m related to the Smiths from sea cows bay.

The roads in most islands are horrible mainly due to weathering.
I'm coming to St Thomas for a week starting on June 19th and thinking of was thinking of doing St John for the day. Is there any pre-carnival stuff happening there like June 25th? Also, was thinking of doing a BVI day trip as well. What are some of the best sights to see in Tortola?
Hi. Glad to hear that you’re coming to the VI! Unfortunately there aren’t much carnival activities until a couple weeks later around July 4th. As for going to the BVI I’ll suggest a day sail to the Baths at Virgin Gorda.

Yes. Carnival in st Thomas is the last week of April 24th through April 30th
