St Thomas is not Jamaica, we are not impress you are from the mainland we can get on the next plane to the states! VI prices are sky high just like Hawaii, Everything is imported. If you want active dancing that would be in the Carnival village jumping from Monday - Saturday last weekend in April.

If you plan to live in the VI you should read Don't Stop The Carnival. I lived there for about 15 years. I still love it. Love the memories. Doc James, Addie Ottley, Fungi! Best pate at Ashley's by the Airport, used to be in a tiny shack near Emerald Bay. Loved the Jitney busses. The East End was the country, And Hugo did not make me a Don! Hugo blew me, Farrelly screwed me and the National Guard stole my toaster~ lol. I love the VI. and I am really jonesing for an Ashley's Pate!!! Bless you all and hope the hurricanes pass you by!

Those alley's are so beautiful. I use to work at Drake's Inn restaurant in the 70's, located in Drake's Alley . I would hang out at Walter's Living Room club in the evening 🌴💃🎶. Located in Creqes ally. Those were the best days. So much fun. 70's and 80's in St Thomas were Amazing !!! Fat City, Carousel, Sebastian 's, Crazy Cow, Percy 's Bus Stop, Sandy's, Studio 54, Quarter Deck, Sand Box, Orange Julius just to name a few ❤ Oh Lord memories 🥰

I had the oportunity to visit Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay twice in 1970. I will never forget the beauty of those beaches or the clarity of the water. Wish I had hiked there. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories of teaching in St. Thomas and visiting St. John as often as possible.

It's quite concerning to hear that people in a place that relies so heavily on tourism don't like serving tourists. I live in a high tourism city in Texas and one thing locals understand is that good customer service is crucial to keep the city going and doing well. I will be in the USVI in a couple of weeks and I'm sure hoping things are better, because I have low tolerance for rudeness, especially given how much I pay to be served. I don't require much, but I want whatever I ask to be pleasantly provided. Certainly, hoping not to have to give a similar review. Smh.

Sorry but she told no lies i was there 2 years ago she told the truth the island was trash ! Yall are rude unprofessional and the island look like a damn 3rd world country and no culture at all and the airport is trash i got cussed out just trying to throw out some trash at a laundry mat and said she was gone to the cops on me

I just left a week ago and I had a blast. Everyone I came in contact with was super kind. You most definitely need a car or you will suffer. We stayed on a mountain and survived lol. Definitely will be back.
