So glad I went and did this back on my last trip there. It was one of my favorite simple things there growing up. I'm sad to see it go.
🤠Cans spinning, tombstones rocking, stable doors opening -- you know for it being free, they've seen to have kept up mostly on the workings of the fixtures.‼I tried it late at night at a party, but didn't get far because I didn't want my Mickey bar to melt. (I have priorities) What got my attention were the penny presses. I thought they were the Country Bear ones....🤭You stand there and not show us gr💜💜abbing the rifle and showing off some skills....o.k "shoot" the video of the place, got it. Thx for taking the time to archive it 4
Haha you’re right, it looks like everything works properly for the most part! It sucks to see this go, I never really played myself but I’d always go up there to watch others participate and appreciated it for how long it’s been there. Lol I can guarantee you I’d be horrible if I actually tried to play, my aim is not good😂 Thanks so much as always Liz!
It’s a real shame my kids won’t experience this like I did with my dad.

The arcade may be leaving the Magic Kingdom, but thanks to 4K it won’t be just a memory, this video displays what it once was. Change will always take place, but watching the video will bring a smile remembering what was

I miss when these were actual BBs. Never got into it after it turned laser.
One of the best times at the park. Those air-powered guns and the hundreds of moving, real targets. It was glorious to round the curving walkway and see the glow of the range in the twilight - the silhouettes of people going in and out - and the hailstorm sound of all of those guns going.

This is exactly why I don't go to Disney anymore. Taking all of the things that make it special.
@@sethjette5812 I'm all for updating things, but taking something that's simple and fun that everyone can enjoy, and turning it into something that is going to be for DVC members only, does kinda suck.
There are so many other places in the MK to put a lounge and they chose this location. Come on Disney! MK needs more attraction capacity/things to do, not less. Great vid 4K.
I agree, they definitely could put this lounge elsewhere but unfortunately I think Disney just wants to get rid of this 😐 It’s a shame for sure but what can we do lol. Thanks so much Andrew!!
I really never had the experience of this attraction, but I never thought they would just get rid of it for DVC lounge. I’m sure there will be kids and adults who will miss it.

I’d be less upset about the closing if it wasn’t becoming a DVC lounge. I really hope that this is a temporary lounge area.
I guess I'm confused as to why they need a lounge in the first place seems highly unnecessary and a waste of space.

Yea, like I know they have many other spaces in MK to put a lounge. This just seems like they specifically only want to get ride of this because it’s free

Disney might not want to acknowledge it, but real life gun ranges are still very popular even today so there is nothing outdated about this attraction at all.

I may have just had bad timing, but this is more people than I ever remember seeing there....maybe bad timing, or some friends enjoying it before it closes. All the triggered actions are fun...if new, not knowing what each target will cause. In spite of being originally from Texas...I am a bad shot...so never did well when I tried it...oh well.
It definitely has been busier here lately since word spread that it’s closing for good! Haha my aim historically isn’t good for stuff like this, so I’m sure I wouldn’t be good either😂 Thanks so much Rick!!
This was always fun. It's sad to see it go for something as banal as a lounge for rich people.

I remember when this was actually beebees.
Yes! You could see the hits on the targets and splash the water around those targets in the "moat". Something special passed when this version went away.

As a bleeding heart liberal, I gotta say…. this needs to stay! I wasn’t around for bbs but my childhood was spent begging my dad for another quarter. Luckily I was able to let my son try it. It being free was amazing. I’m sure if they switched it back to paying there will still be people playing it. That lounge is just gonna cost them money.

Really????? Now I've heard everything. The Disney Theme Parks are supposed to be for everyone, aren't they? I am willing to bet if this happens pretty soon the entire Disney complex will be catering to only the elite numbers of people who can afford the luxury of a Disney vacation. I can see it now, Universal Studios, here we come!

hello 4k wdw so was Tiana bayou adventure ride did you get wet on the ride can wait to see on the ride again when it open in late June
Again, Disney is doing something nobody asked for. Getting rid of their history for what? To sell more timeshares? To be P.C.? Smh
Closing this is a travesty. As if WDW needs another place for overprivileged people to sit and suck down overpriced cocktails. DVC can get bent!
For the last 15-plus years this DEI way of doing things will destroy Disney and I'm starting to think it is a good thing. The way Disney goes Universal Studio or even Dollywood will be a better vacation choice for my family.
Change is hard but it’s all good.
Why do keep taking away all of the old fashioned fun spots in Disney? You are ruining Disney.
