I got banned from a tournament, locally, when I used to play Yu-gi-oh. I went to a tournament with legal cards and destroyed everyone because my deck was extremely well established and could prevent non-dragons from doing anything while I got my power cards by turn 2 if I got lucky. I do believe most of my cards came from this set (or at least I got most of the cards in the set when I was a child). They had a bitch fit about using old cards in the new format, which again I looked up to make sure that was ok before going, and they apparently agreed. They didn't want old gen beating new gen. I at least got my entrance fee back. I believe they got so butthurt because I got into a debate about how good old cards are. They said they were useless and I kept saying they were wrong. They actually told me to come and prove it. Dusted my collection off and beat everyone. The comic book owner DQ'd me saying I couldn't use old gen, despite all the cards being tournament legal in all formats (yu-gi-oh isn't as bad as MTG with banned cards in standard) and the website saying they used the format I researched before going.
These openings bring back so many awesome childhood memories... Makes me want to start buying cards again and play XD

when i was little and just got started and i saw the blue eyes ultimate on the cover so i knew i was getting it and i bought 1 pack and got a BEUD but then when i got older i realised that i got one of the rarest cards in the set and i was just extremely lucky

Personally whether it's your old videos or new, it's fun to watch people open cards and offer some sort of commentary. Brings back memories from when I could beg mother to buy me cards from Target.
I bought this box when it first came out. I got all 3 Ultra rares in the box, as well as 2 blue eyes. I was so happy. I miss this box.
