  • Join me as I ride my Bianchi Infinitio through the vibrant streets of Tokyo with the Half Fast Cycling Club. This video captures our morning adventure, showcasing the beauty and excitement of cycling in Japan's bustling capital.
    Video Highlights:
    • Scenic routes through Tokyo
    • Riding with experienced guides from the Half Fast Cycling Club
    • Exploring the cycle lanes and paths through the city
    • Passing through Roppongi, a frequent route of mine
    Technical Notes:
    • The inserted 3D map is a manual export from Strava, time-stretched to fit the video using Final Cut. While it doesn't sync perfectly via GPS, I've made my best effort to align it.
    • No biometric or speed data overlays are included in this video.
It was a lovely morning ride, and I truly enjoyed having knowledgeable guides to show me the best cycling paths. Even though I've ridden through Roppongi many times, this experience allowed me to explore new routes beyond the main roads.

(@ 19:07) Being passed by a mom on a loaded mamachari, Oh! The Humanity! (LOL)
T'was the last day of my vacation in Japan in 2019 when I happened onto this ride with HFC and rode the rest of it. No sarcasm, a true bucket-list moment for me. Hope to get back to Tokyo and ride with y'all again, but I think it'll be 2 more years before that will come to fruition. In the meantime, I'm lovin' this video, and livin' vicariously through it. Thank you! And, Cheers, all!
