- Scroll back and as some of you know here I was a first adopter of the VSETT 11+ since its early release...Hell I had it before Alienrides even carried the VSETT brand and went with my new neighbor in Washington REVRIDES to order it when it released!! It was truly a blessing, been great to me, been through many ups and downs, and damn if it ain't just a slow leaking tire thats been its only problem a couple times. When I look around on other scooter forums and compare issues other companies have that seems like a minimal problem, and for me has been pretty reliable for over a couple years now.
My VSETT is still fairly new and I really didn't want to buy another serious scooter($3k+)this year so I did a small upgrade of the new display and throttle along with a custom built 25ah external battery from Alienrides! Simply pretty stoked. No range anxiety and a super stable ride thats super cushiony. With a big display now and nicer throttle response as well, its was a no brainer for me at least to upgrade to these perfect additions for the 11+.

I like new display throttle more than the old one. Because, new display throttle speed is accurate. However, a lot of people say that old display throttle speed is not accurate.

With the screen upgrade I just brought one I know it’s a plug and play but the nfc cards your original ones do they work straight away or do you need to reprogram them
Glad to see you finally brought back out the 11+ was just getting ready to leave a comment on your last video asking if you could bring this guy back out. How ya liking the new throttle compared to the old? Is it jerky at all. I put one on my 10+ and found it extremely jerky but am thinking of getting another one for my new 11+ cause i love the bigger display that you can actually see during the day. Thanks for the love meds I definitely been out of rhythm with it!! Last 6 months I'm been on my own moving to Portland so didn't want to risk any PEV related injuries so been rocking the ebike for purely safety reasons like a big ole you know what haha!! Now that I have a place and know the roads and peoples driving habits, I feel much more comfortable going out on the scoot around here. And DAMN all PEVs have something cool about them but out of all them I'd say Scooter is still the funnest...Miss and love riding this thang!! The screen is a winner for sure and just fits in perfect!! With regards to the throttle it is still hella jumpy, but feels a little smoother compared to the old one. Also like that part in the vid where Im going uphill on dirt at a walking pace it shows it's doable, just takes practice or finding that touch. I agree it should be better. Thats gotta be coming on the next phase of scoots as jerky throttle for $3k+ is not acceptable in the first place. We've dealt with it because thats all most companies have offered as only a RION controller seems to be the next level we want, but most of us don't have 8k for that. As the years go on these companies are going to have to innovate theses basics. Smooth throttle, bright lights, turn signals that you can see, great brakes + suspension, puncture proof tires should be the minimum for 2024!! ~Ride on my man, be cool & stay safe out there as well~
@TheElectricLife Yes you're right ✅️. I would say most escooter companies are just immature!!! Toying around instead of just closing down. Let's get more responsible about some must needed improvements. Most of these scooters aren't toys anymore. Thx.

So i also have the Vsett 11+ Grey and black version with the updated display and i still cannot figure out what's with the rgb on the throttle. Could be for looks 🤨
Im almost positive its just for looks, I think its supposed to change color during acceleration....Can't confirm though as looking down for a tiny color change on my throttle has been the last thing on my mind riding on the streets of Portland lol!!!

how is that thumb throttle compared to the older thumb throttle?
So unfortunately neither is a thumb throttle TGJ , but what the newer throttle offers is a more ergonomic finger position and allow you to tilt the throttle finger forward (the previous display would hit the brake lever). It seems to be a tad smoother then the original as well....Or maybe I just have a better position with it!! Either way the display is what I bought it for and its been pretty sweet. A smooth thumb throttle would be nice for sure one day though!! #2024scootergoals
