I don’t understand people that say Sadikovic should have won, the only round he really won was the second. The third and especially the last he came close to Eersel but Eersel was so much cleaner in the fight. Sadikovic put a beautiful performance though, i think he had a little bit more to give which could have won him the fight

The second round was 10-8. That's a big hit on the scorecards. Eersel had to win round 3 and 4 just to be ahead in the scorecards. Otherwise it would be a tie. If Sadikovic won any of the other rounds then it would be a split decision win for eersel at best. Close fight overall. Round 3 was very tight, could have gone either way. The champion will always get extra regard if the fight goes the distance and is even remotely close to a split decision. This was a good fight.

I can see how some people can see Sadikovik win. I had Ersel winning rounds 1, 3 and 4. But round 3 was also really close. If he got the win the judges for sure have him round 5, but even the commentator had it as a tie. So in summary while I don’t think the decision was unfair, it was close enough that some people might had seeing it going to the challenger. I’d love to see this two fight again. This was a really entertaining fight.

I was disappointed that was a kick boxing bout. Sadicovic would’ve knocked Eersel out under MMA rules. Letting Eearsel up after getting damn near knocked out seems arbitrary. It gives an advantage to a weaker opponent.

Most of the ppl in the comment section are either delusional, or just don't know a thing about kickboxing rules. Except for the surprising KO in the 2nd round, Regian absolutely dominated his opponent in every aspect of the fight. Sadikovic is super tough, so he kept pushing forward, but that's it. He didn't land a lot, even though he seemed to have more power, and was most of the time outboxed. That is also why he screamed out of exasperation at the end of the 4th round, just after Regian slick head movement.

  • @ryufight7987

I hope Regian Eersel learns from this ,for a long time he could fight with being damn near untouchable.
I do think Regian was controling the fight ,up untill that knockdown .And i also think the decision was legit because after the knockdown he came back and scored his points tried to finish but didn't manage to get the finish .
I do think that if he wasn't the current champ ,he would have lost the fights . In the end sadik didn't do enough after that knockdown ,but still Regian got away with some luck here .Maybe different judges would have given the Dec to Sadik
Anyway respect to both warriors, Regian showed he can bounce back from a heavy knockdown .And sadik showed he belongs in the top 3

Eersal was damn fortunate to be protected by the rules of Kickboxing. Sadicovic would’ve knocked him out.
The judges ruling isn’t unreasonable under the given rules, but given that Sadikovic knocked Eearsel silly, that’s what stands out. Sadikovic had him dead to rights, except for kick boxing rules.
Fair enough, but somewhat unsatisfying, except for Eersel fans.

It makes no sense to assume that if it had been MMA rules, the whole fight would have gone the same up to the point of the knockdown. I think they might have fought each other very differently and maybe they would have used some different tools in the fight.

@@flapjackson6077 one of the reasons I don’t watch mma. Luckily kickboxing has a code of honor. Kicking or hitting somebody who is on the ground is typically something for losers and cowards. I can understand it is allowed in mma, but it has no place in other sports! Besides, he should be able to finish Regian after the knock down. Now we luckily get to see amazing fights like the one with Harrison vs Muangthai PK with 5 knock downs in 1 fight!
