  • Max Verstappen believes Red Bull has improved a lot after Canadian GP qualifying
    --------------------
Dutch driver Max Verstappen finished second in qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, just behind George Russell, who took pole position despite both posting the same time. After qualifying, Verstappen was positive about the result, especially considering the difficulties they faced over the weekend.
"It was a good qualifying because the whole weekend was difficult for us. Coming into qualifying, we knew we had to do well and to come so close means we've improved quite a bit,” Verstappen stated, highlighting his team's effort and progress throughout the weekend.
Although George Russell (Mercedes) took pole position due to his time being recorded first, Verstappen pointed out the importance of the start for the race.
As for the strategy for the race, Verstappen indicated that the key will not necessarily be to attack from the start, but to manage the tires well. "Yes, I think we have a good chance.
Tomorrow it will be very important to know how to interpret the tires and I think we're going to do well. Let's see how things happen in the race,” he concluded.
These statements reflect Verstappen's optimism about his and the team's performance, and his confidence in his ability to compete effectively in the race.
