While this was just a joke post for April Fools I do think many of these changes should be implemented into the spec to make it play and feel so much better. Hopefully Blizzard agrees.

Idol of Yshaarj should be something like their first 4pc iteration. Periodically summoning a mini bender was bad as a set bonus because it locked us into a capstone, but the effect itself was actually pretty fun and interactive, it would be great as the bender themed capstone.

For real. With your own bluepost of changes I would be absolutely happy as with the New Ret Rework. For me the new Ret is perfect and makes so much fun.
With your changes on SP it would an awesome rework aswell (with one addition: Bring Shadow Mend back as baseline for SP). I hope the devs will take some notes from you man^^.
Since Ret and SP are my mains for a long time. But atleast blizz did an amazing job on ret so far. (I only play PvE and sometimes BGs btw. so idk about rated PvP aspects)
Yeah I won’t lie i was baited by your post in the discord despite it being posted on April Fool’s Day due to a combination of the changes being mostly reasonable and because the changes would’ve fixed just about every issue I have with the spec. Praying that blizz makes even a little bit of your post into reality.
Now i will admit i skimmed the video as i keep track of SP talents but how do you feel about the new 4set bonus its close to exactly what you wanted and i think it offers a ton more build options for us but I'd like to know your feedback on it
What if Surge of Insanity just changed Mind Spike or Mind Flay to Void Bolt - higher damage, instant cast and extands DoTs?

I miss mind sear already, it was such a cool ability it actually makes me sad that I'm not going to be able to use it now at all.

can you do a aoe and St rotation guide for both different specs.
maybe this is just me but i always saw crash being the dot applier as a kind of band-aid, something that doesnt quite work well but is fine as just a temporary method of dot application. I think it'd be great if they removed halo/DS plus maybe even mindgames as active spells and freed up those two binds to give like a 10 second CD Dark void which just applies VT.
I just feel SC is always, regardless of what iteration is made, going to have some sore spots and potential for awkwardness because of just how the spell is designed i'd much rather dark void be the aoe dot spreader.
Yeah thats why I think if they make Unfurling Darkness and Mental Decay alternative options for DoT extention/application people can choose what to play with.
@@Publikwow it'd definatly help with lower counts of mobs or especially mobs that enter combat just after you crash which wou;d be pretty good

What about if they made Voidform make dots stronger after every void bolt cast instead of passively?
Yeah something like that or attach it to every time you extend VF with DP would be good too

One thing I haven't heard you talk about in your last 2 videos is how bad our insanity generation is now. More so in single target. I find myself having to cast 4 or 5 mind spikes in a row, when I have nothing else to press. Just to get enough for a DP. It feels really bad outside of cds. Or is that just me?
Personally speaking I do not think it is that horrible? But at times it can feel pretty dry. I think the challenge is balancing out Insanity gen to make ST feel good but not make AoE overwhelming

No, Mind Spike does not give you the slow so if you want that you cannot take Mind Spike.
@@Publikwow ok maybe confused. Are they not getting rid of mind flay? I heard Mike flay AND mind sear were removed from the game.
I just have to say, where the hell is Surrender to madness? why the coolest spell we had is still not back??? I really think shadow should go back to being the king of caster's execute. since we lost our execute, our identity has changed to the freaking PI... lmao

I think they should rework how PL works, split it into two, something like 20% on SWP, 20% on VT, and maybe an extra 20% on DP, shadowcrash hits all targets with SWP, and limited amount with VT, also it needs to finally be a targeted aoe, not ground targeted with a 2sec flight time lol

Your hope is built on sand. Blizzard used to pay bottom rate for top tier developers because of developer passion. Now they pay bottom rate for rookie developers and the passion is gone. WoW is a swiftly decaying corpse.
there is only one thing i would love more than anything , remove shadow form. it's just a button you press after you die of at least give us a glyph to hide it
I stopped reading when I saw mindspike removed. Screw that shit. Remove mindflay. Mindspike is awesome. And Dark Ascension makes the mindspike build fun. Stop trying to change that.
