k-01 yeah it does make you shit your pants when you hear them but in decay you are actually fucked when you hear the sickler noise because to put it simply you can't run fast enough (if you don't count having perks that give you more movement speed and trait impatient giving u 15% more speed) because even if you have them perk and trait your fucked when the sickler even gets 2-3 kills (scavs or players otherwise) because unlike in so many other games when you can just out run them or do a random gimmick to deter them in decay you have 0 options (thats not standing on a fucking tree or parrying enough to get on a tree) to save your self
I got hit by a Hidden and Hanger combo. Basically I went to mountain and saw a Hanger I didn’t hear a Hidden so I ran but Hanger’s influence girt me then it happened Hidden backstabbed me. It was quite cool tho
the Hiddens sound' sound so frightening with the amplifications on it. It genuinely sounds haunting and terrifying instead of just a child trying to be creepy with its newfound powers of invisibility.

that can actually happen in some cases. were the sounds in the game dont tend to unload for a few seconds but then they stop playing after a few seconds of closing the game. happened to me once but on a different game.

in that situation run as fast as possible and hope the Sickler kills the rest of them. And yes, Sickler will target and kill every single other Reikgyon or however you spell that.

Late but let me be honest for a second, is it just me? Or Hanger's sound effects are just way more scarier? Hear me out, sure the scream of the Sickler or the constant taunts of the Hidden can make you panic maybe more than a little, but hearing that radio static when I'm around the mountain would always make my heart beat so damn fast. Hanger is the weakest Reikgon in the game but dam, the feeling of something waiting for you in the corner, just patiently sitting or hanging around for you to come around and just pounce is different. Whenever I hear that sound makes me stay away from mountain and I mean _stay away_ It's the uncanny and anxious feeling that makes Hanger special and it's amazing, I really thank Cry of Fear for making such amazing sounds effects, it's just simply incredible

Fun fact: Hanger was actually inspired by Cry of fear creature, Drowned, that had a baby erupt in her stomach to stab simon, and has the same ability to use glock-17 against simon.
Skinner and Hidden is so fucking terrifying, like you're just on the first night and kill a melee scav. You turn around, think you're alright, then DIE. Meanwhile hidden, you're spamming Z to try to find it but you got no luck with it, so then you just die. So do your teammates.
As soon as I heard the sawrunner scream from the sickler I got immediate fear coming up my spine just hearing that scream fills me with anxiety in a video game, if only that scream would of been used in a roblox game where you get chased down by nexbots (refering to nico's nexbot)

I kinda wish they buffed the sickler more, him being able to be defeated by a full magazine of a UMP45 makes him look weak, those sounds will be forever engraved into my brain

Funnily enough, I recognize the Honorable Mention's sound. It's The Oni from Dead By Daylight, after an attack in Blood Fury. Strangely enough, the Shadow Hunters (Apostle's minions) play The Executioner's (Pyramid Head) stun noise from Dead By Daylight before they die. Along with that, the sound that plays when an Apostle marks an enemy is The Oni yet again! This time just acquiring enough blood to enter Blood Fury.
There's so much Cry of Fear references in this game. One of them being the "Ugh.. AUGHH.. FRENCH" sound whenever you pick up a FAMAS.
