    Question still remains unanswered!!! You said anything which starts from rest needs more force. But the question is why? In case of any object lying on floor it is due to frictional force which is more when object is at rest but dynamic frictional force is less.

    A motor is designed to work off 50v supply,for instance can have back end as large as 47v at its operating speed. With an armature coil resistance of one ohm, the effective pd of 3v will mean a current through the coil of 3A , however , when switched on , the motor starts from rest and back emf will not be present, so that all 50 v can apply to the armature coils giving a current of upto 50 A
    This is the reason motor draws high current initially

    motor ho ya tf ya generation i (m) ki vjh se magnetic field banti h.... kyoki magnetic field motor me Airgap me banti h jiski vjh se 30-40% jyada i(m) ka maan hota h..... high reluctance ki vjh se.... and p.f. bhi low hota h .2 -.3 tk
